The performance of this song is always so emotional, because both bts and armys sing for each other through the performance. I really really hope you could react to this, its so emotional and you could feel the comfort and love BTS brings. At 15:28 you would think kpop fans would ban together for this occasion, but in reality, many disliked BTS so much that they were openly voting for the other artists in that category in hopes for BTS to lose. I remember seeing that kind of stuff on twitter at the time. But, ARMY stuck together and voted the maximum votes we can vote every day. We were truly motivated to not let anyone take us down. (This is how I saw it when it was happening at the time)
They still do that, the haters. They'd rather vote for one selected 'BTS-beater' than show respect and love to their so-called favorites. The 'Most Popular Artist' nominations for tomorrow's Fact Music Awards shows it very clearly: BTS and 2nd place with about 47% each, 3rd place with 1.1% of the vote, and the other 28 artists with .7% right on down to 0%. (Though I don't count SVT, TXT or any of the other HYBE-group fans as haters; HYBE family sticks together.) I don't think ARMY is as invested in voting as it used to be, though. Considering that there's allegedly 17m+ subscribers on Weverse, ~35M on Twitter, and something over 70M here. Yet there were just under 6M votes cast, total, in all the days the poll was open, one vote a day. And the final margin was just 100k votes between BTS and #2. Are ARMYs getting complacent, maybe?
@@ystrw I know what you mean when it seems like ARMY doesn’t go as hard when it comes to voting nowadays. Even though the fandom is huge, I think one reason is due to personal changes in one’s life over the passing years (like school/work/family) and less time to focus on being ARMY. Another reason could be that newer ARMYs aren’t following an ARMY fanbase on social media (or are only on one platform like TH-cam) so they’re not fully aware of any voting to be done and other things. Well whatever the reason, we just gotta spread the word when voting is needed and hope for the best outcome. By the way, I noticed mama voting starts on October 24.
@@heyitsmejp It's probably some of both of those- I'm a relative newbie myself (next week is my 2-year anniversary, woo!) and I had no clue how much voting went on for about my first year. Nor, how difficult some of these places make it to vote! These TV and radio stations seem to think we have all day to watch ads, collect 'currency' and spend it on votes. I have to wonder if solo-stanning may interfere some, too. I think there's a lot of solos on Weverse, and I know there are on Instagram. : / But maybe not; it might just be that posts roll by so fast, people don't get the message. I think that every once in a rare while, magic happens with a group of people (or a single person) that have something undefined that shows humanity something mind blowing. It opens our hearts, spirits and minds in a way that shakes up everything. BTS is one of those amazing moments in time that are to show us something awesome about ourselves. It's such a burden for them and I am so proud they carry it so perfectly. They won't ever be recreated because this is their unique space alone. And someday. there will be someone else that uplifts us again and we will scratch our heads wondering how it happened?

I love this entire series but this Chapter has always been my absolute favorite. I cry every time I watch it. It's so beautiful. I was first introduced to BTS because of their Samsung commercials. Every time I saw it I wondered who these young men were (I am considerably older than all of them! LOL!). It seemed obvious they must be celebrities of some kind. I thought they were so attractive and was very intrigued. After a lot of search entries on Google, they finally came up. I had heard of K-Pop, didn't know anything about it, wasn't even sure what it was other than some kind of music. So I did some surfing, listened to a few of their songs, watched some Run BTS eps, and, well, the rest is history. One of the many things that drew me to them was their genuine love for their fans. It was easy to tell that it wasn't an act for publicity or to draw in fans. They really seemed to care and appreciate their "Army". I have come to learn over the last few years how special the relationship truly is between BTS and "us". They love us as much as we love them and I truly believe that to be true. I worry sometimes that the members think, because they are taking a "break" and they aren't touring, that Army's love will lessen, that we won't continue to stand and walk with them. RM has voiced this worry a few times on vLive. I wish I could somehow tell them they have nothing to worry about. It truly is and always will be BTS X ARMY FOREVER. We are a family. I'm proud to be a part of that family and that's never going to change. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
As an Asian I cried when I saw those hate comments. I am born in Indonesia but adopted and raised in the Netherlands with little to zero Asian representation on tv or radio. I always laughed when I heard a asianjoke or what ever and I never felt Asian or I was just to scared to admitt to myself that being Asian is a part of me too. Also Asian women tend to be oversexualized and Asian men desexualized. I am so glad things are changing and the western world sees that Asian women not only looking for a happy end and a western man and that Asian men are handsome too and not only nerds etc. Since I am army I started to be proud to be Asian and to be me. I am 44 years old and they gave me the biggest present anyone could ever give me. selfconfidence and the strenght to be me. In the US there are some haters just because they want attention at the cost of BTS...but thank goodness that ARMY doesn't stand for it! Last spring a host on FOX News named Tucker Carlson mare racial slurs against BTS just for attention and I tweeted back immediately that he was out of line and that BTS did not deserve such treatment and told him how great they really are! Being an ARMY makes me a better person!!!

In fact, I think it was Jungkook who just last night at the FACT awards said what they often say "We were just 7 guys who came together over our love of music." But I have to say I think that sadly you're wrong about kpop fans. There is so much bitterness about BTS' success, and the amount of time that they continue to rule the charts & win the awards, that other fan bases often join together specifically to vote AGAINST the boys. (It just happened during the voting for the awards given out last night) It's too bad, but it's reality.
Hi Luke, @15:10 I would hope the K-Pop fandoms would unite to see ANY act in the US succeed, but I'm not sure that's the case, esp with BTS.... however Army will correct if I'm wrong. Agree 💯💯 there is nothing mysterious about their popularity, it's their characters and who they are as people first and foremost. LOVED, and it's a 2 way street. Also re the hate: a lot of it stems from the top, those who control the industry and that filters down to the ignorant who will follow suit. If you have famous presenters and talking heads spewing hatred then it kind of gives 'permission' to those less in control of their emotions and full of their own anxieties to take it out on people they don't even know. Sad, but this happens in a lot of aspects of life, and those with bad intentions will spread that hate to whomever they don't agree with. I think however BTS is and has begun to change the narrative as more people begin to fall into the BTS sphere where positivity reigns. I think in the end that what BTS stands for will always STAND, and those with hate will disappear. Hatred constricts and kills the individual more than the target and love expands and grows. So their own ACTIONS speak louder than words and will do for ALL TIME. The rest will disappear into obscurity forever unless they grow up and change. Let's forget the negative messages in the world today and DO BTS!! BE POSITIVE AND LOVE EVERYONE! But DON'T accept everything, because as we see people wear masks and can be 2 faced, so do your due diligence and check who you're putting your trust into. At 15:28 you would think kpop fans would ban together for this occasion, but in reality, many disliked BTS so much that they were openly voting for the other artists in that category in hopes for BTS to lose. I remember seeing that kind of stuff on twitter at the time. But, ARMY stuck together and voted the maximum votes we can vote every day. We were truly motivated to not let anyone take us down. (This is how I saw it when it was happening at the time)
They still do that, the haters. They'd rather vote for one selected 'BTS-beater' than show respect and love to their so-called favorites. The 'Most Popular Artist' nominations for tomorrow's Fact Music Awards shows it very clearly: BTS and 2nd place with about 47% each, 3rd place with 1.1% of the vote, and the other 28 artists with .7% right on down to 0%. (Though I don't count SVT, TXT or any of the other HYBE-group fans as haters; HYBE family sticks together.)
I don't think ARMY is as invested in voting as it used to be, though. Considering that there's allegedly 17m+ subscribers on Weverse, ~35M on Twitter, and something over 70M here. Yet there were just under 6M votes cast, total, in all the days the poll was open, one vote a day. And the final margin was just 100k votes between BTS and #2. Are ARMYs getting complacent, maybe?

Even though the fandom is huge, I think one reason is due to personal changes in one’s life over the passing years (like school/work/family) and less time to focus on being ARMY. Another reason could be that newer ARMYs aren’t following an ARMY fanbase on social media (or are only on one platform like TH-cam) so they’re not fully aware of any voting to be done and other things.
Well whatever the reason, we just gotta spread the word when voting is needed and hope for the best outcome. By the way, I noticed mama voting starts on October 24.
@@heyitsmejp It's probably some of both of those- I'm a relative newbie myself (next week is my 2-year anniversary, woo!) and I had no clue how much voting went on for about my first year. Nor, how difficult some of these places make it to vote! These TV and radio stations seem to think we have all day to watch ads, collect 'currency' and spend it on votes.
I have to wonder if solo-stanning may interfere some, too. I think there's a lot of solos on Weverse, and I know there are on Instagram. : / But maybe not; it might just be that posts roll by so fast, people don't get the message.

I think that every once in a rare while, magic happens with a group of people (or a single person) that have something undefined that shows humanity something mind blowing. It opens our hearts, spirits and minds in a way that shakes up everything. BTS is one of those amazing moments in time that are to show us something awesome about ourselves. It's such a burden for them and I am so proud they carry it so perfectly. They won't ever be recreated because this is their unique space alone. And someday. there will be someone else that uplifts us again and we will scratch our heads wondering how it happened?

I love this entire series but this Chapter has always been my absolute favorite. I cry every time I watch it. It's so beautiful. I was first introduced to BTS because of their Samsung commercials. Every time I saw it I wondered who these young men were (I am considerably older than all of them! LOL!). It seemed obvious they must be celebrities of some kind. I thought they were so attractive and was very intrigued. After a lot of search entries on Google, they finally came up. I had heard of K-Pop, didn't know anything about it, wasn't even sure what it was other than some kind of music. So I did some surfing, listened to a few of their songs, watched some Run BTS eps, and, well, the rest is history. One of the many things that drew me to them was their genuine love for their fans. It was easy to tell that it wasn't an act for publicity or to draw in fans. They really seemed to care and appreciate their "Army". I have come to learn over the last few years how special the relationship truly is between BTS and "us". They love us as much as we love them and I truly believe that to be true. I worry sometimes that the members think, because they are taking a "break" and they aren't touring, that Army's love will lessen, that we won't continue to stand and walk with them. RM has voiced this worry a few times on vLive. I wish I could somehow tell them they have nothing to worry about. It truly is and always will be BTS X ARMY FOREVER. We are a family. I'm proud to be a part of that family and that's never going to change. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

As an Asian I cried when I saw those hate comments. I am born in Indonesia but adopted and raised in the Netherlands with little to zero Asian representation on tv or radio. I always laughed when I heard a asianjoke or what ever and I never felt Asian or I was just to scared to admitt to myself that being Asian is a part of me too. Also Asian women tend to be oversexualized and Asian men desexualized. I am so glad things are changing and the western world sees that Asian women not only looking for a happy end and a western man and that Asian men are handsome too and not only nerds etc. Since I am army I started to be proud to be Asian and to be me. I am 44 years old and they gave me the biggest present anyone could ever give me. selfconfidence and the strenght to be me.

In the US there are some haters just because they want attention at the cost of BTS...but thank goodness that ARMY doesn't stand for it! Last spring a host on FOX News named Tucker Carlson mare racial slurs against BTS just for attention and I tweeted back immediately that he was out of line and that BTS did not deserve such treatment and told him how great they really are! Being an ARMY makes me a better person!!!

My 2 cents..when people say BTS paved the way for KPOP and asian artists to be in the mainstream worldwide. Its not just the fame and popularity.. That success came with having to take in all the hate,xenophobia and racism. No other KPOP or asian group have to see and hear their name smeared at by bigots. In fact, I think it was Jungkook who just last night at the FACT awards said what they often say "We were just 7 guys who came together over our love of music." But I have to say I think that sadly you're wrong about kpop fans. There is so much bitterness about BTS' success, and the amount of time that they continue to rule the charts & win the awards, that other fan bases often join together specifically to vote AGAINST the boys. (It just happened during the voting for the awards given out last night) It's too bad, but it's reality.
Hi Luke, @15:10 I would hope the K-Pop fandoms would unite to see ANY act in the US succeed, but I'm not sure that's the case, esp with BTS.... however Army will correct if I'm wrong. Agree 💯💯 there is nothing mysterious about their popularity, it's their characters and who they are as people first and foremost. LOVED, and it's a 2 way street.
Also re the hate: a lot of it stems from the top, those who control the industry and that filters down to the ignorant who will follow suit. If you have famous presenters and talking heads spewing hatred then it kind of gives 'permission' to those less in control of their emotions and full of their own anxieties to take it out on people they don't even know. Sad, but this happens in a lot of aspects of life, and those with bad intentions will spread that hate to whomever they don't agree with. I think however BTS is and has begun to change the narrative as more people begin to fall into the BTS sphere where positivity reigns. I think in the end that what BTS stands for will always STAND, and those with hate will disappear. Hatred constricts and kills the individual more than the target and love expands and grows. So their own ACTIONS speak louder than words and will do for ALL TIME. The rest will disappear into obscurity forever unless they grow up and change.
Let's forget the negative messages in the world today and DO BTS!! BE POSITIVE AND LOVE EVERYONE! But DON'T accept everything, because as we see people wear masks and can be 2 faced, so do your due diligence and check who you're putting your trust into. WE KNOW BTS, THEREFORE WE TRUST THEM AND THEIR MESSAGE. Sadly not everyone is like that, so let's be WISE, ARMY's and always be alert against hatred, LIES, and negativity of any kind.
