I'm not a huge fan of cake (maybe a peach cake?), but I am a huge fan of this tutorial! This seriously might be the best tutorial video I've ever had to watch. Excited to start using vMix.

Mud cake. Looks a bit more user friendly then obs so I get it. Will be interesting to try some presets and start making short cuts. Triggers should help me impress at the new job. They have a good audience but need some imagination. Thanks for the tutorial
Love VMIX. Makes our daily live streaming possible. Wish that VMIX what prompt you to save your preset if you made changes and would save it with the same name. Today you have to remember to save it and have to pick the preset or create a new one. HAve had volunteers wipe out a lot of work when they save the preset incorrectly. Also wish I could disable the Close option on Inputs. Have had volunteers click that and then save the preset. Pretty minor things all things considered. I just make sure I have backups of all my presets.
@@vMixhdUnfortunately it locks too many things such as close vmix or stop streaming. So might be safe for me to use. But doesn't help me with our non-technical volunteers. I'd be happy if I could just lock that close button and maybe Save so they don't override the preset thinking they are helping.
I'm using 2 iPads and a Teleprompter app that connect them. I'm using the Teleprompt+3 App which works for me, although it has terrible reviews on the app store! I then have the iPad mounted in front of the camera. We bought a specific unit for our camera which came with a mount and beamsplitter glass. There are plenty of ways to do it with varying budgets, but teleprompters are awesome if you're doing a lot of videos. I couldn't go back to not using one.

There's a little padlock (in the bottom right) that you can use to stop people closing inputs.
