I started 6 years ago, and saw someone with the slayer cape and thought it was the coolest most badass cape I'd seen at that point and still is to this day and I had the goal of getting it since then. Now I'm 97 slayer, 96 spread on melee stats 101Ranged (16m exp) and 75 magic. 70 prayer. 1640 total level. I'm still trying slowly but surely 2 tasks per day as a busy guy with a family but I'm getting there. Maybe at the end of this year I'll have 99. @@KyloB nice bro! I’m also doing it very slowly, planning my wedding and have a full time job. Level 93 at the moment, hopefully get close to 95 this year!
@@lollingtoon congratulations on your wedding mate! I think as far as RS goes consistency is king. Sure 99 slayer has taken longer for me than some people have taken to max a UIM, but I've chipped away with 1 task per day sometimes a couple tasks per week if I've been busy with the family and work and over years it's built up. If I get it by the end of the year I'll be happy, but if it's early into next year I won't be surprised
I would recommend the bonecrusher / bonecrusher necklace as a must have. It's incredibly useful as preserving prayer potions in the catacombs. I often have gone through entire tasks not sipping a single dose. Absolute huge upgrade for slayer

Mahogany Homes makes it a lot more affordable if you don’t hate that particular gameplay loop. Definitely do it with Lunar spell book for the NPC contact, using tele tabs is super worth it for “back to back” house assignments. A couple of things I disagreed with/want to add something: 1. I firmly disagree about training slayer on low levels for efficiency. It is much better to train combats on good methods like crabs or NMZ until you have at least level 70 melees+cannon+ice burst before starting slayer. This is more efficient than doing bad tasks on low combats for bad points and xp. If you enjoy slayer and want to start it ASAP then go for it, but if you want efficiency then train combats first. It isn't xp waste to train combat without slayer, you will save time in the long run unless you train combats to 90s or something 2. Cannon should always be used by mains. If you can't affors cannonballs then make money until you can. Irons shouldn't use cannon 3. You should always wear either expeditious bracelet or bracelets of slaughter. The goal of efficient slayer training is to spend as much time as possible doing good tasks and as little time as possible doing tasks that aren't good. If the task you're on is good, you want it to last as long as possible and bring slaughter; if it isn't good but not bad enough to warrant skipping then you want it to end ASAP and use expeditious. 4. Regarding boss slaying, they should be treated as more of a tool for PVMers to get slayer helm boost on their boss kills rather than a tool for slayer trainers to get more xp.

RSN: KennySalty Bring things you can store other things inside of. Herb Sack, Seed Box, Looting Bag if you're doing wildy slayer. It saves you a lot of time teleing out to bank and running back
Gem bag too. Herb sack is number 1 IMO. It makes me thousands of GP per task on average as on better monsters I uses to drop anyrhing harralander or lower in value. Those add up quickly. Prior to gem a bag, though, a chisel can be useful to cut bolt tips on some monsters. Saves bank time or dropping multiple sapphires and emeralds which can net decent profits.

RSN: swo30
Slayer helmet let's you have the damage increase on more monsters. It was my 2nd unlock for that reason after bigger and badder. Though bigger and badder so far been really a let down. Slayer helm has probably contributed more exp so far and more GP total (via saving time/killing faster).

RSN: Teriarch
Got 99 slayer yesterday. Still watching
why not extend suqahs? really fast exp with cannon and take minimal damage
I don't like them
What's the barrel in the video picture?
Barrel of nafta. It's the item used tovrepresent that unlock in the rewards shop
I know it is all personal preference, but can someone explain why extending abbarent spec is bad? I always make so much money off them now that I have an herb bag. It was one of my first extends. BUT I am a low level 70s slayer.
Bad exp, bad loot imo. They are pretty cringe
I just started grinding again, hoping to get myself a buddy 😅
how can i join the callisto mass? :)
Take your time, slayer is slow and can cause me to burn out but if I just take it one task at a time and try to only do tasks that I enjoy instead of ones that everyone else thinks are the best, the grind is much better. RSN evelanderine
Just got 99 slayer and still 87 hydras left. Gotta start grinding points for new boss
Number 1 slayer tip is to never give up. And get that slayer halmer first thing. Because that thing is overpowered. Lol, RSN brutha
Just can't get enough of bursting Dust Devils! RSN smokeytender
Aren’t you the guy that gave out false info
False info on...?
5:00 it’s weird you say where to stand but don’t show you actually standing there
My #1 slayer tip is to have fun! RSN: Guimis
My slayer tip is use venator bow with dragon arrows kthxbye RSN: LuckyFarms
You should do some mobile only guides
If you're not hc ironman do wildy slayer 24/7
5:48 he spoil it for me 😢
Spoiled a 16-year old quest -.-
I am just returning to Rs, but it has to be to take breaks... I mental boom on slayer sometimes and just need to take a break to hit the rest button! RSN Melee16
Your next task is 314 nechyral
Woooo!!
I left the video soon as you said you blocked Abby demons and nechs.
Doing my Grotesque Guardians task while watching this video
Huge tip, just be 99 in all combat skills 😂
Slayer hasnt been profitable since everyone wanted 72 for skeletal wyverns back in 2015
Slayer tip: Rune pouch, herb sack, and seed box. Personally don’t go on a task without herb sack and pouch with tele, alch, thrall, or burst runes. RSN Hawkback1329
Can't believe homie corrects himself to Kuradal but doesn't mention Aya skipping. 😢
Finishing the quest wanted let’s black knights from krystilias slayer tasks count to your white knights score. Small thing but found it useful the other day.
Rsn Nerak121
Does he actually have 20 donkeys?
my best slayer tip: do slayer
You can cannon regular hydras unless they recently changed it, I feel like I have done them before
i only have 800 points. I will be fuming if i dont get an arraxyte task.
My slayer tip is to do the tasks you enjoy or its disgusting RSN FarmerTrinde
My tip is to not rush the slayer helm and stick with the black mask for a while. Saving the slayer points and getting bigger and badder for example is much better than the slayer helmet as it does not give any damage increase, only the convenience of combining all the slayer items for the head slot.
RSN: swo30
Slayer helmet let's you have the damage increase on more monsters. It was my 2nd unlock for that reason after bigger and badder. Though bigger and badder so far been really a let down. I've had no GP from the enemies it spawns, and it's total experience is maybe 50k so far (im only 74). Slayer helm has probably contributed more exp so far and more GP total (via saving time/killing faster).
