In this entry, Nancy and I are leaving home (Los Angeles) for a 14 day adventure in Spain but before we make it to our Barcelona destination, our Norwegian Air flight DY-7110 makes an emergency landing in Dublin, Ireland!

Firstly I am so sorry this happened to you. Was in Ireland myself last May. BEAUTIFUL Country. You really should definitely go to Ireland sometime. 15.22 and beyond brought back memories. Amazing Country, amazing people, I want to go again. If you loved Dublin, check out the entire Country.

It's actually spelt Éireann, but it is pronounced the same! I'm irish, and I hope you get to visit us sometime!

It is law in Ireland for all foodstuffs to display nutritional information, the energy information means the amount of calories are in the product, in this case there is two measurements kcal (kilocalories) and the normal measurement of any type of energy in joules (in this case kilojoules)
I also find it funny that you call a normal sized 500ml bottle of coke ‘small’ thats a lot of sugar, I wouldnt want to know what americans would call an average-sized bottle of coke
Wow! I didn't know that, thanks for the info Evan. Yes, in America we have grossly oversized sugary drinks, our "normal" is almost 600ml. I wish we were more like what you have.

LOVED our stay in Dublin. Our time wasn't enough, I can't wait to get back there to experience more, everyone we interacted with took such good care of us and made us feel at home. I'm grateful for the opportunity to be there.

Yes. This is true about the rain. But it's also why everything is so green. And people love Ireland. It's a great place!!!
