- This 560 SEL W126 model has been around for quite a while and has been released in a multitude of colors. The older releases are worth quite a bit on eBay nowadays, so I was excited when I read that they were going to be releasing a re colored version.

Having driven the 1991 Mercedes sel560 I can tell you this is definitely true to detail, yes even the hood ornament. They were actually quite big then so this is an accurate model. I also had it in blue.

@@moya5700 That's true. However, I presented a different model car every other week for over six months. New model cars which in my opinion should be presented first. The review of the W126 is coming, don't worry. Check out all of my other S-Class reviews.
Don't know if you would be interested in switching, but Norev has re-released this model in black with tan interior, 183793. It can come with chrome or matte silver wheels. China sellers already have it on eBay for $133usd + shipping. Probably more sellers will have it and at better prices in the next few months.

Ive the 450 6.9 SEL version of norev merc. I had a RR ghost by kyosho but exchanged it to the merc because of some damage. Overall,im happy with the norev,very decent
Ordered a 560 SEL, too, got IT on kind of a baby blue color.
Today I got mine in this light blue color too and I really loved it.

i think you should look on google about the cars before you review them otherwise how can you say if its nice replicated or not?
These are now available in black from another manufacturer (can't remember the name) for around $100. I don't know how the quality would compare to Norev but in pictures it looks very similar.

the main issue is nothing opens on the iscale model. but the norev has been increasing in price so much recently that the iscale has become a viable alternative.
the new alloys look better than the 70s ones
yeah these new ones came with the facelift from the mid 80s, the pre-facelift had those old ones which were known as bundt wheels

Thank you for this presentation. I am also interested in that model. NOREV is cheaper than other models because: they dont make the front grill perforated, the bottom is not detailed to much and the most important issue, they never did the engine in 3D... you can only see the top of it.. and this is sucks , but ok like you say sometimes :)

no they are metal, but painted in matte paint
Do you prefer this W126 or the W116?
W116 is more classic and maybe I like it more
and the seat has buttons but they are in the doors!

Dear Mark as I told you before, study the real car before commenting the model. Like, no the 560 sel emblem dus NOT have te stripe attached to it for cost savings look at this 1:1 model (rofl) look for Peters proefrit # 51 Mercedes 560 SEL (1991) at 0:21 ad you can clearly see that the uderstriping and the letters are not connected at all. So Norev did that incorrect. The full danger traingle in the boot is standard MB practice not a norev invention. The big metal engine part is the air filter housing, the orange box is NOT the battery but the reservoir for coolant runing to the grille ect etc. please develop an interest in real cars it's so much more fun than just looking at a model and after all a model was made After the car and not before mind you. By the way, good choce 80 euro's on a very respectable model instead of hunderds of euro's for the few improvements of some manufacturers. As I told you yesterday, the Norev 200t is a very great model too, all doors opening en great details. Succes! (yes yes it cost you all evening to read this rofl).

that is not true Bram, the 560 SEL badging was underlined because mercedes did design it as a single piece. Check doug demuros review or Kyle Liong's car reviews. I looked at 00:21 on your video and there is a black rubber extension that connects the chrome letters to the chrome line so it is a single piece even in that video.

Ordered Benz 280 SE Ivory instead. Looks slightly better finish than this.
