yo man when eric said he doesnt have a connection with his mom i felt that. ive never had a relationship she chose the streets over family. not having a mother figure really turns you cold. stay up eric!
I agree I like how honest he is about things even if it hurts to talk about. Some people are complaining that he’s reserved but since I’ve been through so much shit I get it. These podcasts resonate more with people that have been through things. Non judge mental people are hard to find.
@ianbickCT I think this has been my favorite interview. I understand the hype of Chevy chase but you did great be was just not a good interviewee. This guy was great. How do I apply to be on the show?
24:25 Gut is 100% real. You gotta be in tune & know when people even have a DUI is enough for them to start snitching. Have walked out of two seperate wired setups. Yes the way people talk is huge give away when the are wired up. You should be reading all the old high-times magazines go over how to setup any deal to spot a wire, clean your car, etc etc. Key point to this interview this guy lost the passion, once your lose the passion get out of the game while you can.
he didn’t go in depth about anything dude. this is a theme i keep getting from your pod. not all episodes but there are some that could be way better like this one by going more in depth into his crime & prison.
I did 10 years my first offense for weed in the feds I don’t know what he’s talking about cause I give them a whole Lotta money to somethings not right with the story and I was only 18
I love this podcast, but some of the whining at the end of the stories is hilarious. “I got screwed, think of the money I gave the government”. So if you rob a bank and give it back, it’s all good? “I’m a felon, can’t own a firearm”. Soo, you were the good kingpin, so here’s some guns? Those are called consequences. Still love the podcast and the stories
I get the sense that this man is depressed and not truly happy with his life. And I don’t buy the reason he didn’t have kids was because of him going to jail. I believe his story but dude his hiding things.
This country really needs to make some changes to the laws surrounding non violent felons and firearms! That law was *NOT* made so guys like these 2 couldn't defend themselves for the rest of their lives, it was made for violent criminals who had shown they are a danger to the public. Ian was a kid who got in over his head and became a white collar criminal, this guy was a high level pot dealer who, from what it sounds like, treated it more like a fortune 500 company, either one _could_ own a firearm and I'd bet every penny I have that they'd never use it to commit a crime. Imo if someone is too dangerous to own a firearm, they're too dangerous to own hundreds of other items, too dangerous to drive, etc and at that point, I'm not sure why they're even free but that's a whole other conversation...
I’m sure Canori was fucked up at the time but it’s probably tough to be nice and passive when dealing. Think he’s prob an alright dude now. Hopefully society gives him a second chance to be publicly successful.
I remember this guy also.. That's two. In a short time. I never went to prison but I can tell you about the suck of this area Still living it. Thinking maybe prison be better.. That's a fact. Society up here sucks.
There's a pic of hom in the new york post with him getting 2.3million in gold and 1.5 million in cash and 400lbs of weed. Hes probably exaggerating but dont think hes making it all up

He definitly had more stash than that, this dude was doing big money when weed and darkweb was in the golden era in term of bizness/risks, and he completly knew how to properly use a computer for that time, he's not fake
@@PurpleFilthx this is documented he was arrested and served time 😐 he got caught with 400 pounds of marijuana and he did turn over millions in gold bars and bullion

I just felt what you said. You put that great.
I really like this guy. He seems as real as they come. It shows how our government is all about money. Great interview.
Dude wouldn’t have made that kind of money if the feds and states didnt bust people.

Oh shit I’m from Qby this guy is a legend to the hustler’s in the 2010s
This is my favorite podcast so far you have done. ❤
Reset and heal center yes please so needed a haven a moment with the right tools
Super interesting that Johnny Mitchell has almost the same exact story with that bicycle lady transporting across country… so very similar
Use your fucking head dog. Same person 😭😂
Good stuff!
Thanks bro!

Yo bro your great interviewer this is a sick one
I can relate to this tremendously
Good stuff
Imagine if he just waited a few more years until weed was legalized, appealed his sentence and kept that 12 mil 😢
Great podcast!
MOTIVATIONAL THIS WAS THE STORY OF MY LIFE AND I REQUESTED TO DO A INTERVIEW WITH YOU IAN i have a similar but crazier story
A lot of wise words that we can put into our own lives
This dude can articulate very well. Watched his other interview on the connect. I’ll sign up Eric. Get that program done
Who else thinks this dude has money still buried somewhere? 😂
Dude definitely like 100%
💯 without a doubt
No doubt about it

37:32 “the viiiiiiiiiibeeeee”
Had to rewind the part about being as “high as a giraffe’s ass.” Baller moment for sure! 👊🏼
I did 10 years my first offense for weed in the feds I don’t know what he’s talking about cause I give them a whole Lotta money to somethings not right with the story and I was only 18
their case wasn't solid and he spent over half a million on lawyers
52:50 is the truth. More money more problems.
I agree with what he says about the intelligent vs. educated
This guy reminds me a little bit of Adam from No jumper, but way more articulate and intelligent
I’ve never heard someone use a point system to describe there success in the streets
Creative Aquascapes

Ian amazing job. Like I always say your the best interviewer in the game and Eric knows that and said you have great questions. Keep on doing you

Does Ian do any research before having his guest??? If not anyone could make up a story...
Yes Johnny Mitchell tells almost the exact same story just from the west Coast

I live 30 minutes from where all this happen this fucking guy is the real deal
It takes some skill to get to that level and alot of luck he thinks he was to smart to get caught but he got caught.
Tap into the urban world they far better stories that guys have to tell
Sounds like Ryen Russilo
He thinks the movies he watched was his own real life and thinks his dreams were reality
lets fucking go
He’s a fool for giving them the money he did not like they knew how much he had made
😂You’re a fool if you actually believe this fairytale that this “kingpin” made up 🤦♂️

If he was black even paying 12 million he still would have gotten more time
This interview would’ve been better if he actually told his story step by step instead of just rambling on about things.
Is this guy the Johnny Mitchell copy cat on TH-cam or is he actual legit?
Did you get to talk for more then 10 minutes in total here?
Bra stop with the cheek makeup my guy tf
