Awesome content. I got such mad respect for American SUV/Pickups nowadays. A pickup got up to me in my 700hp RS6 and revved his engine and I was like "what do you want really?". Later when he was going side by side with me going all out, it turned out to be the Shelby Super Snake and I wasnt so cocky anymore haha. Keep the awesome content coming!

Lol not really. Anyone who knows about the inner workings between the two auto manufacturers know Lamborghini really didn't do shit. In fact Dodge disagreed with Lambo on a few things. Dodge needed their help because it was cheaper. Not because they couldn't do it themselves. Hence why the Viper V10 is a pushrod wedge style motor with zero relation to a Lamborghini V10. In fact the Viper engine shares many similarities with the small block 360 Magnum. But please, keep telling yourself what ever your wanna believe lmao.

Dodge's beating Lamborghini is beginning to become a norm that I very much enjoy.
I test drove a hellcat the other day and asked the salesman how he sold people on a car that was actively trying to kill them. Dodge wins in a straight line and that is badass. But the tech and engineering that brings an urus or rsq8 to its price point is the same engineering that enables those cars to work on a track and not feel like they’re trying to kill you if it happens to rain while you’re driving lol.

I don't really get this video, because the 0-60 times other reviews have gotten (and the manufacturer numbers) show the Urus being faster than both of the other two. 3.1s for the Urus, 3.5 for the Durango Hellcat.

I think what happened was this. The designers at Dodge were asked to make a really good SUV for the school run, but they couldn't really be bothered, so they just got a Hellcat motor and built a drag strip car instead.

@@ThrottleHouse I haven’t launched mine hard since before I put it on Eibach suspenders back in November, I’m hoping that helps a bit. It’s so good at daily driving duties though. I don’t want to do too many things and lose that balance of comfort versus insanity.
I def think the wheelbase with the weight distribution has a huge factor with the durangos traction over the trackhawk just like the Durango is more comfortable than the trackhawk for those reasons as well

@Patty Homes My friend has Urus and he went on 1 month buisiness trip and gave Urus to me so i drove Urus for 1 month and i drove it through some twisty roads and it feels 50/50 like mixed version of car and suv it handles very well for me it doesn't feel like suv but perspectives are different. I drove the Alfa Romeo Gulia and my mother owns a Stelvio QV, the Gorgio platform is by far the best platform FCA has developed during it's whole merger. And I was able to drive a Maserati Levante SQ4, and yes you people can say it uses some Chrysler switchgear, but it definitely has a special charm when you drive it especially reving it out.

@@LilRick96 mustve been a fluke tbh, car and driver took the urus to a quarter mile in 11.3, carindigo lists it at an 11.4 and the x6 m at 13.8. the durango hellcat and trackhawk are listed at 11.5 and 11.6 respectively, so it makes sense that the urus would lose to those two from a dig because the tires are cold, but the x6m is a couple seconds off

well, companies claimed times are always gonna be on perfect days, on prepped drag strips, with tires heated to exactly the right temp and the best drag racers they have access to behind the wheel. im impressed when i see someone get within most of a second of the claimed quarter mile time for the car.

This is something that I ask for every video. They are afraid of the fan backlash that instrumented testing will have when the numbers are inevitably slower than the manufacturer's performance specs derived by professional drivers on a prepped drag strip. But I contend that seeing the real numbers will demonstrate the results that will happen in real world conditions with normal drivers, which is closer to reality.
