For context I am only 10 minutes in, earnestly, I am not sure if I will continue. My heart is heavy. I wish everyone happiness, health and a good life. I do not disagree with the diagnosis of gender dysphoria and that people wish to transition. And adults should be allowed to, with healthy medical guidance and appropriate medical interventions. I wish all across the board when it comes to medical treatments, even for example birth control for women, more informed consent was insisted upon from the medical field. A child cannot understand broader consequences of their choices, which is the role of parents, family, mentors, teachers and all other support adults to provide healthy guidance. It's why even when kids know from the age of 6 they want to be a doctor, which is awesome, we don't enroll them in medical school. We give them a solid well rounded foundation, skills and potentially extra stepping stones to keep their options open or help them accomplish that dream. I wish that was the same here. I cannot agree with voluntary medical interventions on children. I am not saying you're bad or evil for having your views. I can see true love, care and compassion. I cannot agree with it. I hope you receive this with the intention is was written.
