Write Your Own Story
United States
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 11 ธ.ค. 2023
Grab your favorite pen, ladies! The Write Your Own Story podcast is here to inspire women to live their dream lives. Through candid conversations with women business owners, leaders, and friends, we dive into the real, unpolished stories of womanhood. From successes and struggles to lessons from failure, we explore what fuels women’s passions and keeps them going. These stories remind us we’re not alone and encourage us to pursue our dreams. Expect down-to-earth, funny, and honest chats that feel like catching up over coffee or wine. By the end, my hope is for each listener to feel empowered to silence the “should’s” and doubts, and pick up the pen to write her own story.

I love this! Thank you!
Amazing session!! I have learned so much and truly enjoyed this.😊
what the fuck is this ... this is stupid
When she's saying "always telling the truth", what does she mean. Because there are different "truths" for different people and groups. But it's true that finding your voice again is hard, even harder.
Well spoken and I wish the one I’m close with would do just that and after a year she’s finally clise
Bravery is suppressing your fears and stepping forward.
great conversation
I just re-watched pieces of this podcast. It's very well done, you gals did great. Lauren seems incredible. I, for one, would love to meet her. Not a Cincy resident, but have ties to Mariemont. She's certainly worth the effort. You are right, Betsy, whoever does get the chance and earn the chance to be in her life will seemingly be a very lucky man. 🍀
🤔🤔🤔🤔 the dominant amount of women I've known in my whole life think about themselves before others only lasts they have children
I'm gonna raise my kids in my community. Not in the school for 8 hours a day. I want them to know plants in the garden, I want them to have dreams, I want them to love how I was shown was wrong. Be loud and opinionated and generous and self sufficient.
Very nicely done. Kudos.
ME TOO!!!
women need men. female bosses can never the worst.
Misogyny. Men who describe themselves as transwomen are not women.
For context I am only 10 minutes in, earnestly, I am not sure if I will continue. My heart is heavy. I wish everyone happiness, health and a good life. I do not disagree with the diagnosis of gender dysphoria and that people wish to transition. And adults should be allowed to, with healthy medical guidance and appropriate medical interventions. I wish all across the board when it comes to medical treatments, even for example birth control for women, more informed consent was insisted upon from the medical field. A child cannot understand broader consequences of their choices, which is the role of parents, family, mentors, teachers and all other support adults to provide healthy guidance. It's why even when kids know from the age of 6 they want to be a doctor, which is awesome, we don't enroll them in medical school. We give them a solid well rounded foundation, skills and potentially extra stepping stones to keep their options open or help them accomplish that dream. I wish that was the same here. I cannot agree with voluntary medical interventions on children. I am not saying you're bad or evil for having your views. I can see true love, care and compassion. I cannot agree with it. I hope you receive this with the intention is was written.
.
This is NOT applicable to ALL. 😂 When you see signs that your child will be Psycho killer would you let them?? 😂
I recently had a discussion about boundaries with a group of friends that I know through my bookclub. As part of the book we discussed, my friend handed each one of us a slip of paper that said this “Boundaries are healthy and do not require explanation. “ As we talked about boundaries, we discussed how hard it is and how we feel like we need a big explanation. I told the group that when a friend is going through something such as cancer treatment, or anything else, I often say, “let me know if I can help”, and I mean it. I also say/tell them to ask me for anything and I promise that I will be honest with them. Sometimes I will say yes and drive them to chemo or whatever they need and sometimes I will say no either because I’m busy or I just don’t want to and there will not be a big explanation. It’s helped my relationships to do this, and I have said no, and, when I did, there was a long pause, and my friend said, thank you.
That’s my Jen! ❤ So very proud of her!

Most American women are delusional. 80% of divorce in America is initiated by women. I was married for 31 years, was it perfect? Hell no. Afterwards our youngest son felt responsible, overdosed and died. I blame her as much as I blame myself.
just letting you know Betsy, you are atrong but your daughter's a superhero.
