What is the square meter of your breeder cages? I love your set up!
Hello, thank you so much for viewing our channel. The bottom big pens are roughly 2m x 2m = 4 sqm, the top ones are around half which is 1m x 1m = 2 sqm, and the metal cages at the back of the shed that are on top of eachother are around 40cm-50cm x 100cm.

@@luistellechea1370you should look for silkies in the same country or at least continent, it's only going to be worth the extra hassle importing them if it's a rare breed but they have wide geographic distribution so there will be someone more local

They need day light
They have windows and UV lights inside which is more than enough for chickens.
Do they ever see the outside?
Yes, we have large windows which let fresh air and sunlight in. They sometimes come out for photos and to go take part in poultry exhibitions!
@@FurNFowlSilkiesyou should teach them to use musical instruments, a keyboard is popular for chickens several videos of chickens using instruments exist.
Once they can use the 🎹 keyboard they can learn the ⌨️ computer type, then we can have them send emails and prove they aren't robots
