- If you are looking for a unique travel experience, then this is a great video to watch. I'm inviting you to join us on an exciting outdoor adventure, as we explore several abandoned sites, in the Utah west desert. Navigating through some moody weather, we'll uncover some unusual ruins hidden in the landscape, and some right in plain site.
Thank you for tuning into this exploration journey on @offroad801 on TH-cam. Here you will discover the secret site of the Topaz Internment Camp, where 120,000 American citizens were imprisoned. Now a National Historical Monument, the memories remain hidden and forgotten.
Look what else I came across, abandoned in the Sevier desert near Delta, Utah. A strange solar project. Witness the remains of a corrupt and ambitious attempt to collect energy - GONE WRONG.
Hear a brief history summary about early settlers of Fort Deseret. This old fort consists of mud and straw. Surprisingly is still standing, 150 years later. Wow!! Incredible And lastly, we are pleased to share with you an Ancient Archaic petroglyph site. Where the Great Basin Curvilinear style can be seen. A Native culture that existed from thousands of years ago. Also discover the Great Stone Face. A rock formation known as the "Guardian of the Deseret"
Our adventure travels today in the Jeep Wrangler, does include some fabulous drone footage as we are ALWAYS searching for further evidence of lost civilization or hidden clues to our past. And in case we find an off-road trail, we'll be able to share it with YOU. This episode may give you real life sense of history our ancestors lived through, with one surprise after another.

Great video and interesting finds. Love your simple deliveries. Ty ❤
@@chantelsandberg801 Thank you so much 😃. I love sharing these places.
Thanks!
@@wayalife8239 You're awesome 👌. Thank you so much 😃.
Oh man, you missed the other fraudulent energy site near Delta at Pahvant Butte. There are some really interesting ruins there.
@KurtFalkenthal Good looking out. They are on the list still. Just haven't made it yet. 2 weeks. 👍Thanks for watching 👀.
They should have made them clean up the mess they made.
@briannave7326 Agreed 👍. What a mess.
Topaz was a huge place. They are barrel rings for old water (whiskey) barrels. At the east entrance, there are old guard towers and a gate.
That solar power plant is wild....hahaha.
Pretty wild to think how fast they put those walls up.
That is a cool panel......I was going to say the Stone Face is right behind you. Looking at it from N-west to S-east it's pretty clear to see the face.
Now, the question is, did you go south from there to the Pahvant Trial?
@LivinUTOutdoors So far, everyone thinks the same on the rings. We drove down the east side and didn't see anything but the ore bins. We didn't go south yet, but that is the plan for next week. It sounds cool, so it needs its own video.
@@offroad801 The Pahvant is my favorite area of Utah. You will love it.
They are definitely wood barrel rings because of the difference in size
@kenperrin963 So far, that's what everyone thinks 🤔. Thanks for watching 👀.
Hey there Buddy, That place looks spooky with the fog and the frozen over brush. The bands look like
old barrel rings to me. The wood must have rotted years ago.
@OdySlim It did feel pretty spooky. But I totally enjoyed it. They were all the same size, so I didn't think it was a barrel 🤔. At least not the barrel I'm thinking of.
@OdySlim everyone else is saying bands too. I think you're right ✅️
Just curious, do you guys ever rock hound? My parents got into it when I was a teen, and took me all over Utah for geodes, topaz, picture stone, apache tears, garnets and fossils, you name it. Just thought you'd have a lil added fun on your adventures. Great share, thank you!
@DavidDunn-breakinbadretrddad I do a little here and there, but not too much. I know of a few spots around Delta. Thanks for watching 👀.
Metal detecting? Just curious great ch
@surgery6865 I'm thinking about it 🤔.
They should have made them clean that mess up.
@@briannave7326 Agreed 👍.
That’s not the great stone face. You can drive right up to it.
@@darkapertureproductions2753 That's what the sign said? So where is it?
Wood barrel rings?
@@TheOneHandGamer1111 Maybe 🤔. Why is this the only thing left.
@offroad801 my guess is someone probably just dumped them there.
@TheOneHandGamer1111 I can see that.
@TheOneHandGamer1111 People and their garage 🙄
Burned casks.
@@sarahwhitlock6100 Maybe you're right ✅️.
The rock just looks like a rock to me. Sorry.
@@OdySlim I definitely didn't see Joseph Smith.
