    I have good memories of my grandmother and five of us cousins helping clear the table while her daughters washed and dried the dishes and put them up. We would talk and laugh and it was fun. You can make great memories with nice plates or with paper plates.

    I work a job that is 24/7/365, meaning that I could be scheduled for any hour on any holiday. I don't take them off. HOWEVER, I learned, that I can celebrate on ANY day with my family. We have often opened xmas gifts a few days early or late. I cook Thanksgiving on Saturday. It isn't the DAY that matters, it is the memories.
