Connor Bedard never failes to impress whenever he steps on the ice. Here is the best of Connor Bedard from the JSHL, a showcase league hosted by the BCHL.
What I like about him is that he’s not afraid to shoot the puck when he has even a slim chance at scoring from a certain position. Most kids these days try to get the perfect shot off and in the end they waste too much time and they end up losing the puck. This kid is different for sure and in a good way
This kid is legit walking around these guys like I was in house league at 7 years old lmfao, absolutely filthy to do this kinda stuff at this level of play.
I remember when this kid was playing on my buddys inline team, he got called up a few times when he was like 6 or 7 to play with grade 7s who knew what they were doing lol hes fucking unreal
truth be told I was saying the exact same thing to my son, who plays hockey, & he agreed totally! This kid is crazy good, but this tournament the competition was NOT up to anywhere close to his level!
LMAO. Is this the first time you've seen him play? His shot is his selling point. I don't remember a prospect that young getting his shot praised as much
Gdjhdhdg Gdhdhd my guy I doubt it’s a hitting league and trust me he would adapt to that and just escape a lot of the hits he has great explosiveness and speed.
ParadingWolves he played in the second best league in Canada and like he said lead the league in scoring by like 20 points as an underager. that’s like mcdavid/Matt savoie shit so he’s gonna be insane
Nah im sorry but I think your praising the kid a bit too much, this is u15 i persume. His puck handling and iq are good, but, the oponents hes playing against are no offense really really bad. I play in stockholm sweden and if im honest he would not be concidered a future star, more like a kid with talent (theres plenty of them here). So keep in mind who he is playing against and that to anyone that is relatively above average the oponents look like just cones with waving sticks. And remember, theres always a bigger fish somewhere.
Kids good no doubt, but I don’t think he’s the next SUPERSTAR, I feel like I’ve seen better talent than the one I’m watching, however no hate, just my opinion
That’s how good he is, Wayne Gretzky when he was growing up he had the puck all the time. And if a coach told him to pass the puck it would ruin him game and development
Wagon hockey,,, you need to stop posting these players as "Superstars" really???? A skilled kid vs lower level kids. Our East coast is full of these kids
@@sethnahirnick6475 well if that videos shows the calibre of the kids in your Midget prep league, it's weak. They would never make or compete in our Provincial Major Midget League in Nova Scotia.... Put a player with any skills against them and he looks like a superstar!!!... That's my point
Darrell Graves it’s a AAA league and he’s dominating it’s a week AAA league but it’s a hockey academy no one can pay for them but hockey academies r ran like WHL teams I never played one but ik people who have

Being good against some house players is not a superstar. What they can't check in this league. I didn't see one hit. You can tell he was raised in a soft era. Very lucky kid. If this was early 00s he wouldn't even be average
Stevo Safroniy Plays in CSSHL for west van prep and is probably going to get exceptional status into the WHL sooooooo are you sure he’s rly not that good

He's very calm and quite mature for his age. Definently many things to learn off of him.
i remember seeing this video way back before he recently exploded in fame
Connor Beddard: Dangling literally everybody on the ice, and sniping every single opposing goalie since ‘05.
He’s an 05!, Jesus...

This is the best bantam AAA league in BC he’s playing the best he can
Banana man it’s not very good AAA hockey academy isn’t as good bc of the price u have to pay to play it

2:25 those are the type of moves that make hockey so fun
for the people that r saying he’s playing against scrubs he’s playing 4 years up, he’s an 05 (14) playing u18
then the U18 are scrubs
Thomas Casey yep u18s r definitely scrubs u sound so stupid rn
I know I’m late lol, but just to correct you this is the u16 jshl division. I know because my buddy is # 43 on the caps
That move at 2:50 was kinda slick did a lil spin move on em.
This aged very well
This league is dust
Except he’s playing in the best major bantam league out west and he’s an underaged who lead the league in scoring lol.
2024 y’all are lucky
Number 7 was raking up points
The goalies were pretty good
He looks bigger than everyone else so we will see when everyone else grows too
Ppl in comments don’t realize he’s born in 2005 lol. The kids he’s playing against aren’t bad for their age he’s just that much better
Im born 2005 and i am a goalie and ive surely faced much harder shots.
#7 is pretty good
Who’s number 7?
2:45 😍😍 holy bedsy
