Drag Week 2017 - Day 1 Highlights!

- Hot Rod Drag Week 2017 has OFFICIALLY begun with the start of Day 1 at Cordova International Raceway outside Cordova, IL. The struggles of competing are only the beginning, as each racer has to drive their racecar over 250 miles from Cordova to Gateway Motorsports Park to continue competing. As the competition warmed up, so did the stakes as racers have already been breaking parts and running into issues! Today the test begins, we hope to see as many people as possible tomorrow at Gateway Motorsports Park!

#1320video got a video idea for you. Make some vids of some of the racers of were they were and where they are now because not every car starts as a 10 seconds or less car. Would be nice to see cars running 16seconds back in the day and then years later become a 7 second car.

I'm doing drag week before I die!! I would be happy just to run the Dailey driver class. If I ever win the lottery I would build a car just for the small block power adder , A 74-81 F-body preferably a Fire Bird start out with a nice roller, spare no expense on front and rear suspension stay stock suspension on leaf springs, fiberglass hood,trunk,bumpers optic armor lexan windows, throw a LS9 crate motor with a big ass Kenny Bell 3.0 blower custom grind cam ported heads stock heads small shot of nitrous big ass ice box and heat exchanges and a 4L80e with a trans brake and drive the piss out of it
