No. We do not have to think deeply about the indentured servitude of the 1800s. If we didn’t have anything to do with it, we don’t have to feel deep guilt to drink a cup of tea today. Do not be a spoiler.
Please. You say the difficult past around tea trade has to be acknowledged, then at 03:30 you show an image that portrays the DUTCH East India Company. Try harder.
First of all, your pronunciation of "gyokuro" is rubbish. Secondly, the cake pictured isn't Bakewell Tart, it's Battenberg. Thirdly, it might be the "host" pouring the tea, rather than the hostess ;-) Otherwise, a nice presentation.
Scones shouldn’t be cut with a knife (use your hands) and the tea spoon shouldn’t do a 360 movement, but it should be moved forwards and backwards 🥲🥲
Yes! Thank you. I was going to say there were so many etiquette mistakes in this video I couldn't believe it!
There are so many etiquette errors in this video.
yes, you have to pull it apart!
I was watching in horror haha
However the most important part of etiquette is to put others at ease and not be judgemental of how they do things.
Delightful! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for letting me experience it even if it’s online
Lovely. Thank you.
I love it so much ❤❤❤
Hey Conde Nast Traveler are you ever gonna upload new installments and new episodes of the Culturally Speaking series again anytime soon
Thanks!!!
Es una tradicion tan elegante
Stirring in a circle, and cutting a scone?
😮 I need that spray that took out the rinkles.
Water
Very nice only you don’t cut the scone, everyone knows that
It's just tea, you don't have to apologize, my goodness.
after watching i'm eager to have afternoon tea, then i realise i have no time for it, i'm but a mere peasent...
You can during weekends
you can make a sandwich ahead of time, have a cookie, a mug and a teabag and you're gold!
Oh my goodness, do not stir this tea around. The spoon is to be moved back and forth.
Tea should be stirred at 6 o'clock...up and down
Nice video but consists of a lot of errors etiquette wise .

Never cut your scones with the knife. They, are to be broken open.
Patricia. What On Earth were you thinking when you typed that comma?
@@AMVinVid
What were you thinking when you put a period after my name?
@@patriciahooks4090 Emphasis, Patricia. And anyway it's a full stop, not a 'period.'
@@AMVinVid My goodness. Is This Also For Emphasis? 😆
@@JC-wd7ct Yes. I hope it worked for you. Anyway. That comma?

To start with….
In addition to that…
Towards the end….
😊just a better way of forming sentences.
Look at all the people correcting people and nobody asking for advice.
