You know I didn't know you are in the states, all along I thought Jamaica. Anyway, keep up the good work.
Looks amazing going to recreate
Nice! Is the first I see cloves in porridge.
It adds extra flavor but it’s completely optional.
@@AuthenticPlantbasedEats I would try it thanks.
No problem, enjoy!
Hi my friend its been awhile anyway I love your peanut porridge!!!!
@Joel Brown Hi, welcome back. I hope all is well. Thank you so much.
It so funny I never like peanut porridge but now I love it. Great porridge. I never heard of clove
Thanks! I love peanut porridge , one of my favorite. Clove is similar to allspice/ pimento.
I always make a vegan banana/plantain porridge, but will try this tomorrow. I am wondering if the oats lesson the taste of the peanuts? as I see some recipes dont call for oats and I love peanuts. Great channel, love it...UK
I used the raw peanuts and so the oats did not lesson the peanut taste it was just as good without the oats. The oats helps to thicken the porridge and gives it a richer consistency. The ratio between the peanut and oats is like 2:1. Thank you, bless up!
Favuloso

@@AuthenticPlantbasedEats weh yuh get a?
@@laylaskitchen5952 Google lists many options.
I’m really not a fan of cloves AT ALL! Can I make this without them or can I just use 2or 3?
Ofcourse, you can omit it.
Spices can always be adjusted to your liking.
Thank you for listing the ingredients and cooking time. Too many “chefs” or “cooks” refuse to add ingredients and method. They assume that everyone knows how to cook. What’s the sense of doing a tutorial without pertinent instructions.?
Can you do cornmeal porridge
@Joel Brown I posted a recipe months ago you can check that one out. However, I planned on doing an updated video soon.
mi naw haf coconut condensed milk wah mi a use?
You can sweeten with sugar alone.
@@AuthenticPlantbasedEats Thank you!!!
Jus wonder why some porridge use flax seed and other dont
Personal preference but not necessary.
I want to know why did you add more water to the mixture after you added the blended mixature and how much water again to add. I will be doing this receipe .
I added water to blender to extract the remaining mixture this way I don’t waste any.
Thank You so much for your replies.
The first part of the porridge making, you bring the porridge to a boil how long before adding the mixture and at what temperature?
You’re welcome.
You’re welcome
How much water though from the remaining mixture from the blender.
Roughly 1 and a 1/2 cups more water.
You said 5 cloves but I see more than 5 you added.
I added exactly 5. That’s why I put the full list and measurements in the description because regardless of what I show or didn’t show you can always refer back to the description to see exactly or the amount. The cloves just add extra flavor to the porridge and if you want to add more go right ahead.
