honestly, yeah. BFN gets waaaaay too much hate. then again, this might be bias from me since I spent 100+ hours on the Switch version and absolutely love it
“They hated Jesus because he told the truth” In all honesty, yeah, I really enjoyed myself, and I don’t think it’s right to compare the two due to how vastly different they are beyond a fundamental level. With that being said, I do find GW2 better. GW2 > BFN > GW1 for me.
@@Typesh1ttGW2 has great graphics… if you like purple lol. I think that BFN has the best environmental graphics, as well as the most stylistic detail overall, but it came at the cost of stripping away the original PvZ charm that made us grow attached to the franchise. However, graphics are subjective, so I won’t criticize you for having an opinion (this isn’t Reddit lol).
@@Typesh1ttI mean, this discussion was about the graphics, so IDK where you got the idea of variants from. Anyways, the lack of variants DID do a lot of damage to BFN’s replayability, but I enjoyed the upgrade system enough to not completely kill the experience, for me at least.
@@TratmosThe only characters I find to look worse than their GW2 counterparts have to be Rose, Peashooter, Imp (he LOOKS better in BFN, but I thought the intent behind his design in GW2 was to make him look as hatable and obnoxious as possible, while staying true to PvZ’s design principles. Here, they just took that away and went for a more marketable design), one could argue Citron, and Corn. The rest either look fine, on par with GW2, or better IMO.
I found the campaign to be pretty bad. If u think about it, it’s just a bunch of fetch quests then fight boss. Ok now get a billion collectables just cuz y not. Then repeat 4 times. It’s not that hype
@@youraveragehorse I didn’t mind it, but the cookie-cutter formula could have used some work, or at least they could have made it less obvious. I liked the collectibles, as they weren’t very intrusive and fun to find most of them (but at the same time, some of the gold gnomes were complete BS to find). But in my opinion, the quests’ goofy natures and excellent NPC dialogue more than make up for it for me.
the shroom actually carries that game such a fun character the new zombies are pretty meh if they added more characters similar in character to super brains i think it would be pretty nice
BFN is not THAT bad when you really think about it. The main issue is, ofc, how it has no content at all, how nothing that they might have planned has never come to light. I ofc do like GW2 more, the variants and the maps and, ofc, the replayability of it.
Obligatory “BFN bad” comment on the subject matter. Like seriously, if you have a reason to dislike the game, that’s completely fine, but if you don’t provide any reason and just spam vomit emojis it comes off as really shallow. With that being said, what do you dislike about BFN to give you such strong feelings about it?
@@TwilightChomperEnthusiastgood point, I personally believe popcap improved in the fields they didnt need to and changed so much about the essence of the two previous shooters it feels like its lost all sense of direction. Bfn was change for the sake of change, and they removed variants as an excuse for "balancing". The direction of pvz shooters as a whole was thrown to the wind, and what was left was a dissapointing shooter unfortunately. I really wanted bfn to be all that, but it just wasn't, and thats why it was so dissapointing to me.
@@kaideneatstheearth7104 I mean, as much as an excuse the removal of balancing was, I do have to say that BFN is much more balanced than GW2, with there only being two outliers. What really doesn’t work for me is that they tried to make more story-based game, but didn’t fully commit to it, leaving us with 4 regions with the same skeleton plot. You gotta get 3 things to make a thing, so you can unlock the boss fight. Fortunately, the quests are quite engaging and I love the bosses, but if they were to put more effort into it, it would be truly amazing.
@@TwilightChomperEnthusiast yes defenitely, a bfn full story campaign would kick ass. It is more balanced than Gw2 i agree as well, which is a breath of fresh air. I just think if youre looking for the simplest, most casual experince just play gw1

The artstyle is bad, gw2 and gw had better graphics

i think one thing we can all agree on, is that the BFN campaign and just the graphics of the game in general are actually amazing

I too am guilty modding free XP...
But in my defense!

No he just got banned which makes you max rank
I’m so happy I’m not the only adult who plays this, it’s my absolute favorite. Way easier getting full lobbies on console.
So how do I start over from scratch to enjoy the adventure mode from the beginning AGAIN pleaaaaaase?
I played bfn a lot on my nintendo switch without any online for like a year or two and it’s a pretty ok game but not too bad
there will definitely be new players on PC because of the christmas sale on EA
the shroom actually carries that game such a fun character the new zombies are pretty meh if they added more characters similar in character to super brains i think it would be pretty nice
Can you please also restart pvz gw 1
We need some private servers for this game so we can actually play it
Bfn max rank is not gonna stop. I’m gonna get all the classes to grand master
the only reason i don't play nightcap is because i max ranked her
Still dissapointed with bfn, but its good to see some people really like it!
I main Garfield in Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 (well kinda)
yessir never played but might after i watch this
try the asia servers on pc they seem to only be the only ones that are alive probably due to china 🗿
It would certainly be interesting to see all the characters that got scrapped in bfn. Some seemed pretty interesting.
Hello bro your pc strong?
🧢 I didn't know you would play this
A BFN video!?? impossible!
Exactly my thoughts
play it on European servers they are pretty active
9:12 I want that 😍
GW3 is easy pick over bfn2 because it allows for the character variants but balance changes so some characters aren’t busted as hell
Another great Fujj video. Awesome !!!!
Love your videos keep up the good work ❤
This game was fun until i played multiplayer
Michael Jordan is the goat. Lebum wishes he could get past second place
