I have several food sensitivties and histamine intolerance. I've eliminated these foods as of the last three months. It's so hard. How do I heal my gut when I can eat so few foods?
My son has a Celiac and Hashimoto, he had a leaky gut (high α-1-ANTITRIPSIN, EPX, Zonulin, Candida). Intolerance test horrible (gluten, dairy, yeast, rice, corn, eggs, nuts, vegetable oils, and so much more). He is on Paleo diet for 8 years, from time to time on Candida diet (he never ate sweets, just fruits). I’m cooking bone broth for 8 years, nothing processed, try hard to be organic, oregano, coconut oil, probiotics with enzymes for Candida…His markers for leaky gut were good except Candida (it’s always there), but lately EPX is very high. 😞
I feel like I’ve tried all of this and more and still have severe food intolerance. I’ve done restrictive diets, tons of probiotics and probiotic foods, elemental diet, oregano oil and other microbials (even combined with enzyme therapy) and tons of lifestyle changes. Nothing has helped and I’m still stuck on a severely restrictive diet. Losing hope of ever living a normal life again.
@@janjamesramos247 Yep, same thing happens to a lot of people. You can't really expect to be running around doing lots of things when on a longer fast, you literally spend days in bed, resting.
Went through paleo diet while on SIBO treatment twice followed by taking probiotics mentioned here. Tried gradual reintroduction of problem foods. Unfortunately this approach did not work and I am back to square one after thousands of dollars wasted. Not sure what to do. Symptoms are excessive flatulence and pain 5 hours after eating any beans and seitan as well as onions, garlic, broccoli, cauliflower, and many other of the healthiest foods on earth.
I have been on no sugar, dairy, and grain free diet for almost a year. I have taken probiotics, everything I can research to help my gut. Yes it is some better, but introducing anything new , I still have the same reaction. My Ige serum is off the charts. With anti microbial supplements and , probiotics besides all the natural ingredients, I still can’t eat anything. I can’t gain weight and the symptoms still haunt my body. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
@@PeCo333 Yeah the first few days can be quite rough, especially if you're on a higher carbohydrate diet. Dry fasting even more so in my experience, I find I can barely move as my body is switching over to burning fat/ketones and feel absolutely terrible.
When I eat something that I'm seriously intolerant to I get the extreme lethargy and it usually happens within moments. I feel like someone who's been heavily sedated. My body is so weighted down that I'm forced to sleep. I remember one particular incident happening after I'd eaten some potato chips. I'd eaten potato chips before but this particular brand must have had something extra that packed a punch. Luckily I was home when it happened cause I literally struggled as I tried to get up and drag myself to bed. When I got up it was like nothing ever happened. I rarely snack but suffice to say I was never tempted to try that brand again!
Dr what does high total IgE actually mean? I started having gut issues post lockdown which my gp was unable to treat till he advised me an IgE test which came back much above the normal range. It was thanks to his observation that we figured out eggs are a trigger. This inspite of me never having any prior issue with any food especially eggs. Unfortunately I also self concluded meat also triggers a response of vomiting post 1/2-1 hour of even accidental consumption/contamination by any meat products. I never further tested what IgE is triggered by. What would you advice? I also suffer from a lot belching, burping, vitamin D, B12 deficiency managed by suppliments. I seem to have inflammation in my gut especially the colon. Oh and I have poor teeth health with silver amalgam fillings. Also developed a fibroid. Could it be hormone related? I agree with your stress and exercise correlation to gut issues as all this was triggered post covid lockdowns.

Much needed video!! Thank you for this!! Been having issues with food intolerances since 2020 (mostly histamine intolerance) and issues with fodmaps since last year unfortunately the low fodmaps did help relieve symptoms but I’ve been unable to reintroduce foods and now I’m stuck at only a couple of foods I can tolerate!! The list is getting smaller!! So while the low fodmap diet helped initially it’s now become an issue as I can’t reintroduce foods!!
I'm sorry to hear that. It may be that you need some more gut-healing therapies first, before reintroduction, and not just the elimination itself. Hopefully this gave you some ideas to try!
@@DrRuscioDC thank you I’m definitely looking to get more help with this as I definitely believe it’s driven by Sibo or some disbiosis but haven’t yet identified it through initial testing!!

What about food intolerances? If I eat any kind of beans I get severe flatulence and pain. This happens even after treatment for SIBO twice that I did with a naturopath.
If you don't have SIBO, diversifying your diet, maybe probiotics, getting in touch with nature by getting plenty of sunlight, touching soil, touching dogs, cats, any pets that go outside, and ensuring healthy mucosal defenses and motility through adequate nutrition (vitamin A, iron, etc.), having optimized circadian rhythm, etc. will probably be a good start. Science is lacking very severely on this topic and is very contradictory. Common sense and experience is more useful here, I think. @@Fearzero

Your videos are so useful! Thanks for making them . I’ve been feeling better and better with my gut and allergies. I also practice eating less and practicing fasting a lot. Can u help if someone has tpo antibodies/hashimotos? Im having major trouble figuring out triggers. My numbers are not overly high, so I think I'm able to 'reverse' the problem or keep numbers low, but I do have symptoms and recently diagnosed. I do feel emotional stress was a trigger but I feel diet needs looking at. Negative celiac. No idea where to start. I love all food😮
I typed a long reply but I don't see it. Long story short, I'm in the same boat as you (hashimotos). I've learned a lot from Sue Becker (Bread Beckers). Wheat is very nutritious but loses nutrients super fast after milling. I milled wheat on and off for years but never relied solely on it for our bread. I'm getting ready to try it out and see how things go. I've been GF for almost three years at my Dr's recommendation. Maybe only eating real food would have fixed it. We'll see. I'm going to test my TPO antibodies first to get a recent baseline, then again after a while of adding real bread back. I will not eat any store bought or restaurant bread while in the experiment phase.
I usually use Biota Clear 1a (oregano) paired with Biota Clear 1b, taking 2 capsules of each, 1-2 times per day for a month. Check with your healthcare provider first.

She was diagnosed with celiac disease and had lacto intolerance. 😢 She is able to eat gluten again 🎉 and is fine with regular milk. She just prefers lactose-free milk because it tastes sweeter. 😅 Did your whole 9 yards protocol with her religiously. 😊 Ever so grateful for her miraculous recovery doc! 🎉❤ I can tolerate gluten up to a certain extent (SIBO) without bloating but I still get tired after eating it, but then I'm only about 2 months into taking probiotics. There were also some other unusual side effects like headaches and heaviness in my feet. 😮 Those issues resolved themselves when I went gluten-free again. I'll try again after 4 months. 🤞 😊
Every time I consume eggs or dairy, my skin looks like I have chickenpox. It’s debilitating as the reactions last months so testing it periodically is too risky. I’m at my wits end. Doing a parasite cleanse now in case that’s the culprit. I appreciate that your video is about finding the root cause instead of only treating symptoms and urging people to stay away from said foods.

Flatulence is not a specific SIBO symptom as any gas in the small intestine gets absorbed. It’s indicative of large intestinal dysbiosis
