"How hard do we hit the gong?" -- "I want you to break the damn thing. I want you to hit that gong so hard the audience goes deaf. SMASH IT!" ~My 8th grade Band class teacher. We literally broke that gong, fell right off the frame and rolled away. The trumpet players in the 3rd row likely have hearing loss to this day. I smashed that fucker like Barry Bonds after his 8th injection of the day. That was my favorite song in that class.
I had the pleasure of playing the guitar and drums in a little orchestra of my town... I LOVE this track... This performance is the greatest I´ve heard
Me too! Everything was just about perfect. Toward the end, the percussionist was a tad bit off, but other than that, the acoustics and the tempo were spot on!
Actually the themes were composed by Zimmer in a period of 2 days, but because of his obligations to the last samurai he couldn't score the film. So he passed the themes to Klaus Bedelt to adapt them to the score of the picture. You can find that information in the documentary about the music of pirates
@kikkkasss Actually it was composer KLAUS BADELT who wrote this piece of music for the first movie and Hans Zimmer wrote the music for the second movie with the collaboration of Badelt..!!!!!!!!...The compliment should really go to Badelt instead of Zimmer
Everybody thanks Hans Zimmer for the music but what about Klaus Badelt? He wrote the first movies music. Either way its great music, one of my favorites, indeed.
This was the first song i EVER played for a concert it was so much fun : )
Same
My daughter’s orchestra used to play the entire score, they were amazing! It must have been so much fun to play this....What instrument did you play?
This is my theme song. Every time I enter a room this plays.
😂😂😂

ladelame1 I'm glad I'm not in your band class lmao I would have gone deaf
Only fellow percussionists understand the pure joy of causing hearing impairment in everyone in the back row
You know why Scottish people make the best musicians? Well, they look up at their conductor. ♥️😎
I had the pleasure of playing the guitar and drums in a little orchestra of my town... I LOVE this track...
This performance is the greatest I´ve heard

+Edward Rodriguez Rodriguez I just booked a teacher to learn cello and rented my cello. I'm 26 but excited as hell. You should start doublebass!
iSim0641 that's nice I hope you learn well but I meant the song because I already know how to play the double bass :)
hahaha snap! That's amazing. You are lucky. I'm scared of the difficulty level of the instrument but I'm motivated!
iSim0641 yeaa don't worry about it though because once you get the hang of it you'll be able to play any song you like. :)

Great
Is nice to hear this played by a real orchestra not by a synth like the recording.
I hear this is a classical orchestra. Hans Zimmer's orchestra Makes that a lot better
They needed some bigger/better/louder speakers so you could fully immerse yourself with the music. Other than that it was nearly perfect :)
