    This is how every tutorial should be made! Straight to the pint, no intro, no life story. Love it.

    Absolute life saving video my friend, I have zero knowledge when it comes to working on bikes, but I was able with no mistakes to change both my plugs after watching the whole video, I even went and bought a bungee cord to hold the tank exactly like that, thank you so much, £14 for two plugs and an hour of work later, my SV is not an 325 anymore, back to a roaring 650 dragon. Much respect also for the reassurance when you said "it's gonna be okay, don't worry", lovely character man

    Thanks for this video. I was really wondering if it is too complicated but now I feel a bit more confident that I might be able to change the spark plugs myself ☺️👍

      @@astrofruechtchen Bitte, berichte unbedingt! Ich kenne das auch zu gut, die letzten 2 Jahre bin ich auch kaum zum Fahren gekommen... 😒🙈 Vielleicht machst du ja ein Video daraus 🙃

      @@motolexx Also die unterm Tank habe ich raus bekommen, sah aber wohl noch gut aus. Vorne bin ich nicht dran gekommen, sonst muss ich da alles abbauen 🙈 Aber da die hintere noch gut aussah, liegt es wohl eher am Vergaser und da bin ich dann raus. Suzi muss wohl bald zur Werkstatt 😪 Video hab ich versucht, allerdings hab ich nicht viel Platz und mieses Licht in der Scheune 😅 Aber vielen Dank für die tolle Anleitung, sonst hätte ich mich da nicht dran getraut!

      Gib dir 'nen Ruck und baue auch die vordere Kerze aus - denn die ist meist schlimmer dran, weil ihr das Spritzwasser vom Vorderreifen zusetzt. Deswegen basteln sich Leute auch gerne eine Kotflügelverlängerung. Im Grunde ist die viel zugänglicher als die hintere, bloß den Kühler weg (musst keine Schläuche abstecken, einfach 10-15cm zur Seite bzw. nach vorne nachdem die Schrauben ab sind). Dann ein bisschen herumfuddeln mit der Verlängerung und sachte rausdrehen. Ich schätze mal, dass du auch etwas zartere Hände und Finger hast als ich, sollte also noch leichter sein. Fertisch 😃

    isnt the tank cover made to flip straight back once the front bolts are removed (like a car hood)? is it necessary to rremove bolts at 1:47?

    • @motolexx
      @motolexx  ปีที่แล้ว

      From the top of my memory: If you don't unbolt it, you can lean it back and use the rod, that you should have originally, to support it. You can not tilt it all the way back afaik. It was just way more comfortable to have the bolt removed and the tank more out of the way to have more space.

    Help my bike has been sitting for a while so I change the fuel pump. Sbar plugs but dies when I put it in gear. Any ideas what could be causing this please

    • @motolexx
      @motolexx  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      If it dies only when you put it in gear, your sidestand may be the problem. It's either down or the bike thinks it's down: the contact could be faulty. Take a closer look at that first.

    Where do I get the rubber washer inside that socket

    • @motolexx
      @motolexx  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      My rubber washer was included with the wrench kit. I guess you could use ordinary washers and make them fit inside the socket. It's just a additional help. I used to change spark plugs on my car without rubber washers.

      You mean the windshield? It's from wish.com, was 20 EUR and the best looking and fitting in my opinion 🤷‍♂️
