Thanks! It's hard to say who my fav villain is, but Thanos, Apocalypse, and Venom are up there. My fav superhero is Spider-man, with Iron Man as a close second. How about you?

Alias #1 is actually the first appearance of Jessica Jones...well technically here's the thing in an issue of spider-man it was confirmed that her actual first appearance was in the amazing spider-man #4 she was in the background during spider-man's fight with sandman in that comic.
That's cool. I actually used to own asm #4. It was in pretty bad condition but I still loved having it. Unfortunately I had to sell it 😔
By the way you know that big monster on the cover of The Amazing Spider-man #218, which you show in this video, turns out, that monster is Sandman and Hydroman combined into one, I kid you not!

I just bought like 30 avengers comics from a tag Sale. Never had a comic book but im gonna start collecting them.
Most of them aren't worth anything exept for one called venom protecters something, it was part 2 and apparently very expensive.

There were quite a few Legion of Superheroes comics here which is cool cause I do like The Legion Of Superheroes. I do love the comics. I also love the Legion Of Superheroes cartoon show that lasted for two seasons such an underrated show I don't know why I don't see that show on any lists of animated shows that got cancelled to early.

I know it’s not exactly ideal, but next month they’re reprinting an Omnibus of The Amazing Spider-Man. I say it’s not ideal because it’ll be about $90 on Amazon, and it collects Amazing Fantasy 15, Amazing Spider-Man 1-38, Annuals 1-2 I think, and then his crossover with the Fantastic Four if I’m not mistaken. I didn’t know if you knew about this, and I decided I’d help you out if you didn’t know.

That issue of adventure comics where superboy leaves the Leigon of superheroes was written by he who shouldn't be named but I'll name him for the sake of giving context, jim shooter, yeah the guy who set marvel back and wrote that horrible 200th issue of avengers. If superboy in that issue is a complete jerk don't be surprised jim shooter is a jerk. I also think the real reason the legion are devastated on the cover is they know who's writing this issue.

Try local sites like kijiji or letgo. Also try looking for a used book store in your area (not a comic book store, just a regular used book store). They tend to have much better prices than comic shops or ebay.

I personally hate beast being part of the avengers. Reason being beast is an x-men through and through. Besides long before he joined the avengers the avengers fought the x-men and beast was in that issue. I personally wouldn't join somebody who wanted to throw me in jail beast is smarter than that. Also in that awful 200th issue of the avengers made an extremely racist comment. I won't quote it but all I can say is it's out of character he's part of the x-men ( which by the way the fight x-men have for mutant rights is similar to how black people vote for black peoples rights.) So yeah not only was that comment beast made extremely racist it was a major character assassination and putting him on the avengers was an epic character assassination. On a side note I wouldn't be shocked if a lot of people when avengers #200 came out completely unsubscribed to marvel and started reading DC because of that garbage.

@ASMR Retro Jim Shooter, He wasn't the only writer on that issue but I'm pretty sure all the terrible contributions were him. How the hell was this man editor in chief of marvel for 9 and a half years? He made some horrible decisions during his time running marvel. Introducing bad characters, Leaving good characters out of action in favor of those crappy characters, hiring a few bad writers ( cough bob budiansky), mistreatment of female characters like Carol Danvers, Susan storm, and Janet van Dyne, and Liz Allen, and of course the racism. Thinking about those things I listed makes me angry and what makes me angry and sad all at the same time. Jim Shooter to me is like my principal in high school. Stuck up sexist and racist narcissists.
