Your first two comic book recommendation videos are absolute perfection. The newer ones that you have made are nothing near as good as this one. People who have requested that you make more comic book recommendations were hoping you would make more like you made this one, with the books in front of you and the camera showing them. No offense intended, but we don’t want to watch you batting your eyelashes with the camera focused on you instead of on the books themselves (because we can watch your other videos to see that!) Your hand movements were absolutely fantastic, and it would just be wonderful if you would make more in the same style that you made these early ones even if your taste in comics has changed. I still watch your earliest ones every single night because they are the perfect ASMR.

Your Batman Returns Movie Book at 7:35 would go perfect with my Batman Returns (1992) TOPPS trading cards (full set). I do have the movie magazine (great condition) from the first film (1989). I purchased it at a garage sale. I really liked the 2nd film, but in my opinion, the first two (Tim Burton films) were the best from the original movie releases. Awesome video down memory lane.

I too miss the old Birds of Prey (at 40:13) and the TV series that aired on The WB (here in the states) back in 2002-2003. I purchased the entire series on DVD at a garage sale several years ago for $2.00 (U.S.) Can you believe that? The DVD(s) had no scratches.

that "half jacket" book cover is fairly common in Japan and is called an obi, just like the sash that goes around a kimono. look for "Obi (publishing)" on wikipedia

The best art by a long shot is always on the cover. The part of comic books I don't like is when they have a character that worked and they just change either the age or gender to make a "new" character.
In the late 60's Wonder Woman lost her powers, and became a James Bond type character. This is why she dropped the costume. This didn't go over well with fans, especially feminists. Soon after her powers were restored, and she became a super heroine once again. Two new writers, who thought they were being edgy, were the ones who decided to strip her of her powers. After the negative feedback, they soon realized and corrected their mistake.
Really enjoyed this. but does it bother you at all that the woman heroes and villains seem to be drawn by adolescent boys? Seriously, they have the curves of well developed women in their late 20s or early 30s but are portrayed with the facial features of teenagers and young girls. There are some great female artist working out there. Maybe they need more. Also if you are interested at all in three dimensional women characters in comics you might want to check out Love and Rockets. :)
