I watched this one with no captions and understood at the very least the context of everything spoken about! Your speed of talking and the language used is very easy to understand and I appreciate that! A beautiful family taking a well deserved trip to a beautiful location! The video is so well-made. Even though it is clearly a promotional video for this rental home it’s still such an enjoyable video to watch, Moe really has grown so much as a content creator and improved so much in every aspect. It is so nice to see her enjoying the unique scenes in Kyoto and interacting with locals - and this is especially unique to her, it really feels like taking a glimpse into a Kyoto local’s life and is so pleasant, and you don’t get this feeling with gaijin youtubers living in Japan. Moe is clearing branching out to her overseas market and doing a lot to reach out to her ‘American’ audience, building her brand, etc; but I hope she never loses her roots and do more videos like this, introducing authentic local Japan to her viewers…

I have been to Kyoto once years ago and experiencing our stay in a ryokan. I wish I can go back someday, because Kyoto left a deep impression for me. I always try to stay in Kyoto a bit longer and off the beaten path whenever I’m in Japan. It’s the city I feel most at home in when I’m there. Good tofu is so amazingly delicious! You wouldn’t know with the stuff we get here in Europe 😝.

Arashiyama was really touristy since there were so many tour buses and tourists visiting the area. The bamboo forest is worth a look but it is worth a visit as a tourist. It is really hot in the summertime.

The whole point of this woman's channel is the beauty and tradition of her kimonos and demeanor. Marriage is also a statement to the community of his commitment. That rather than indulgent selfishness he will continue to respect her and her family throughout his life. Of course such promises can be quite hard to keep. Especially in these days of extreme self-indulgence Mrs. Kimono may seem foolish to many. Why waste your efforts on some sort of commitment instead of following all of your own impulses and desires, no matter where they may lead?
