The Q8 looks a lot better on video or in person than it does in Audi’s configurator. I saw it on their website first and I thought it looked ugly. The problem is that the Audi configurator does a bad job of conveying size and vehicle height. While I was configuring it, he Q8 looked bloated and too high off the ground. Fortunately the real one looks very nice. I will say it’s a little weird (if not boring) that VW group cars are starting to look a lot like each other. I understand why they do it though: cheaper, optimized design, good quality. Why spend the money developing a completely different and new component for a different brand if the pre-existing one is about as optimized as it can be? I guess instead of looking at them (Audi, Lamborghini, Porsche) as different manufactures, they should be viewed as one big one. So instead of saying the A8, Cayenne, Bentayga, and Urus are different cars with pretty much the same parts (the Urus’s V8 is very similar to the Cayenne Turbo’s save for power, not to mention the Urus’s arm rests are lifted right from the A8), they could be viewed as different trim levels of the same car, each one with its own unique characteristics. Or perhaps they could be viewed the same way American sub-brands such as Ford’s Lincoln and Chevy’s GMC and Cadillac. Audi is focused on attainable luxury and performance (via Audi Sport), Bentley is focused on ultimate luxury with performance, Porsche is focused on track performance and luxury for enthusiasts, and lastly Lamborghini is dedicated to loud, ostentatious performance and luxury. Of course there are exceptions to this as most of Porsche’s models are on their own platform (911,Boxter, Cayman) and especially Lamborghini’s Aventador. But all in all, the brands have a lot in common with switch gear, various chassis and drive train components (with exceptions), materials such as leather’s, and infotainment systems. However, they share these components because they work well, save them money which can be used in other projects, and are of sufficient quality to be used in most of their sub-brands.

Ochyda od grilla przez deskę rozdzielcza do tylnej wycieraczki, (chyba od Trabanta) do tylnych świateł i paszkwilenego zderzaka. Szczyt „diabelskiej” brzydoty bo taka jest moda aktualnie. Do tego nieciekawe wklęsłe boki szczególnie drzwi jak w wiekszosci tego typu aut. W środku pewnie smród taniego plastiku, chińskiego. Nawet na karawan sie nie nadaje bo za krótki. No ale można wozić urny. Kwintesencja współczesnych trendów , które mogą spowodować wymioty. Pasuje jak ulał do obrzydliwej sylwetki stadionu dziesięciolecia.(Czytaj Narodowy)
