@@MsHodgey Why didn't you save us all the time and just announce you're a fanboy for another company up front? Sico's mounts are perfectly fine, unless you're too stupid to understand lefty loosey righty tighty.
I bought the alpha direct thread mount for the octane 45 To mount on a “pistol “ (Rugar pc charger) blow back design. To make this work, all i need to do is take out the spring and 9mm adapter, add the mount and thats it? Just making sure so i don’t mess anything up.
Yes you are correct! Alternatively you can also replace the spring with a "fixed barrel spacer" on your piston which essentially converts the setup into a direct thread mount. The Alpha Direct Thread Mount is going to look cleaner though for sure on your PC Charger.
I was told my Energetic Arms Vox S suppressor was ASR compatible, so I bought a few muzzle ASR muzzle brakes, and now that I got my cam approved all I had was a direct thread option included. So how I do I got about using my Vox with my ASR muzzle brakes??
Great video, only thing missing IMO is the thread pitch of Bravo, you mention alpha is 1-1/8 but I'm assuming bravo is 1-3/8? That would be what other manufacturers are standardizing on right?
That's the diameter - correct, the HUB for Bravo is the most common. The Dead Air Keymo and Xeno, Q Plan B, and Rearden Atlas Bravo all use that same thread pattern from Bravo for their mounts. The muzzle devices for those systems are not intercompatible either, except for Q Plan B with Rearden and vice versa, ignoring how Q will not warranty cans mounted with non-Plan B MDs.
You need to use the Charlie Piston Housing along with the correct Piston on any pistol with a tilting barrel. Using direct thread will result in the malfunction of the pistol.
@@SilencerCo thank you very much for advice and quick response. side note: I found the video Suppressor Science: Pistons, very clear on the differences between direct and piston.
Can you use the Direct thread on a Pistol Caliber Carbine instead of the piston driven mount? I have a Stribog sp9a1. Its just a direct blowback design. I would assume I am safe to use the direct thread. Right?
Hit up our customer service team. Those wizards know how to to resolve any issue you run into. One method that has worked is to use one of the spanner tools that shipped with the product to "hook" the inside lip of the tapered insert. Apply upward force and work around the insert as you go.
@@SilencerCo thanks for responding, xeno is yalls bravo thread pitch but it would be really cool if you guys made a Charlie to bravo adaptor for your suppressors i can’t seem to find anything
@@SilencerCo Ya, but I have the larger end cap, and the numbers are on the sleeve so is it possible to get a 9mm baffle stack or are y'all just in the business of selling tax stamps??
That’s a lot of shit to go wrong for overthinkers. Keep it simple people, use 3 lug on PCCs, ASR adapter and mount for rifles and basic piston system on pistols / handguns. I use the blast shields to protect threadings on adapters, not just prevent concussions 🤕 for that guys on other benches 🤣🤣🤣🤣
So you need multiple pieces to use your supresor? I have a LanTac Dragon Advanced Muzzle Brake 7.62 / .308 Win SilencerCo ASR Quick Mount, which of your supresor fit that muzzle brake with the least amount of pieces, and for that caliber? Thanks in advance
Very straightforward information, & useful product knowledge.
Clear as mud.
Maybe for someone like yourself with a double digit IQ.
I just bought an Omega 36M never had a suppressor or shot one...this video is super useful thank you.

Sheesh! I'm going to be re-watching this one about 300 times!
Great video I know what my next silencer will be.
Very helpful information! Thank you.
When I bought these, I didnt see in the manual that I needed at least a 3.5 gpa in AP Trig.

Great video. I may be abandoning ASR after a baffle strike on my 36M. I just don't trust it. Direct thread seems to be the simplest option.
Is there a reference sheet or web page with all the thread specs for the various mounting types?
awesome video for the silencer co system. Explains all accessories for devices, Thanks for the video!
Great information. Answered a lot of questions.
Makes perfect sense to me, thanks!
Is there any difference between using the flash hider vs the muzzle brake? Pro’s/Con’s, performance or longevity?
Still waiting for you guys to release the best suppressor host ever devised... 👀
Hipoint yc9...
Are you guys gonna restock the salvo 12 chokes? I’ve been watching for the last 5 months and have not seen them restock once.
Great info
that tapered insert on Charlie looks just like a 1" Parker ferrule used on tubing
How mutch point of impact shift do you see from the ports
With the charlie asr can you time the silencer
