You speak easily to understand. This understanding is so helpful to keep learning, it's inspiring 🎉 nice to listen and watch your expression at the same time. Best wishes from Russia
Hi, Gideon. This is the first time I've watched you on You tube premium. I'm from Buenos Aires, Argentina. You speak very clearly! I have never played a musical instrument or played minigolf. But I was chosen to be part of the school choir and I love sports. Hastings reminded me of something so I googled it and it was a battle that William the Conqueror won in 1066. He was one of my favourite Kings . But let's enjoy talking about the seaside. I enjoy going to the beach!!! I love English as much as I love my mother tongue. Well, Nice to meet you!!! It's July 23rd, 2024,9:45 pm. It's winter here. Thank you very much for sharing your hobbies with us. 🎉
Hi from Italy. I liked very much your video and expecially the concept concerning mistakes. If we made a lot of mistakes it means we are practicising! ❤
You speak so clear and with ease which makes it easy to understand but when speaking with any British person face to face then I hardly understand their accent because they speak so fast sometimes and use a lot of slangs.
I accidentally stumbled into your video by TH-cam's algorithm. As for me, I'm from UK too, more specifically South-West. Not far away from Bristol 2h away. But originally from Lithuania. I've been living in UK for a while. I like to listen to english whenever I can. I think input is very important for english learners and it even effects my output somehow. So I have that good habit to listen to english podcasts or stories at the same time while I drive, walk, cooking, do my chores and etc. Killing two birds with one stone. Finding your channel is very interesting and considering to subscribe. If you like this comment I promise you'll get a regular subscriber 😅
@@gsl-english Good evening sir! You absolutely earned it 👍 Huge respect for your work. Glad you liked Vilnius. If you decide to visit Lithuania again make sure to drop by other cities more for tourists like Klaipeda or Palanga. It's very nice there in summer. And yeah, whenever you start recording a new video for us make sure to grab your tea with you 😅
Because I'm spending my Holidays by the Sea and not Chromecast and fast internet connection in here I only see some Videos on the iPhone screen.. But they definitely don't look the same. Anyway, keep on posting and Greetings from Spain. I'll see you on my TV screen in September.. Which is just around the corner🏖️🏖️🏖️
I welcome everybody from Ukraine!Im a new subscriber on your chanel. Was very interesting, thanks for your advices .I was playing rhythm guitar I understood what did you mean!it was absolutely freedom bro.I was able play all day on it
Hi, Gideon, I'm Makbul from Bangladesh. You speak to your heart. thank you. I know it is very hard working making videos. Still you do it for us. thanks again.
I've just found your channel and I must say it's rather splendid! Do not worry about Orta's pronunciation, it's quite alright, just in Italian the O would be shorter ( English speakers tend to use the diphthong ou ). Cheers!
Thank you for your nice positive mood. I am Nikolay from Russia. I am programmer , software engineer . I am thirty nine and I am single. Listening to English audio and videos occupies almost all of my free time. Ones a week I have a lesson with a private teacher. I actually have no other particularly hobbies. I never play computer games , even on my smartphone let alone my computer.
Like you I have a private teacher twice a week but it’s not enough . So I need some to speak with . My level is upper intermediate . I’ve just started my advanced book.
Thank You , I really I become quite reliant on your shows , for their helpful and informative content .. I am interested in posing a question to you.I still have only one year to get my graduation about English Studies, but I continue to face challenges with my speaking abilities, which significantly affects my confidence… i don’t know to deal with that ??
Thanks so much for your kind words! As regards speaking abilities, I would recommend practice speaking on your own, to yourself just to build your confidence and then gradually start talking to others. Just be consistent and gradual 👍

It's bether to me understund British than American too! I'm from Brazil , althou i whath movie every they is so hard to me catch frasal verbs that amercsn use a lot and conect speach ! yuor speach is more software and clearly!
I'm from Brazil, I'm having difficulty understanding American English, I realize that I understand British English better. For this reason I want to put my efforts into British English, as I can understand British English well, but when I speak it sounds more American. But I don't understand American English well, I understand almost everything I watch in British, even though we are natives. I can't understand almost anything in American English.
Thank you so much ,Could you please speak a bit faster, like native speakers do, or provide an audio file with normal speed at the end of the video? This would help us with our listening practice as we need to understand native speakers who often speak very quickly.
Hi, it was nice to listen to you how passionately you'd been describing playing the drums. But I'm curious, why don't you play the saxophone? It sounds sooo great...As for me, the saxophone expresses the state of soul better than the drums. I may be wrong (I used to play the piano). Seagulls aren't a disaster, they're just "hangry" birds😁, so don't take them so seriously, at least you made me laugh at this. Thanks a lot for the positive vibes you've shared with us🤗
not a native speaker but I heard about this one. Both can be used, formally the one you mentioned is more accepted, but in an informal context it might sound pretentious and the first one is more common. I guess it also depends on the country or even the region you are from.
