I’m a few days late to the video but glad to see you back and hope you are doing well, always getting some good recommendations from your videos as well.
You recommended Project Wolf Hunting on one of your last videos I believe, and I went to watch it. It was pretty good like you said. *thumbs up emoji* I want to watch Last Voyage but I need to wait for the 4K if/when it comes I recommend The Kindred and Massacre at Central High that you got. I liked those!
back in the day when you had cable and you had hbo and show time and max you didnt own the movies it going to be like that soon again looks like the show and tell is coming to a end everything will return to what it once was private movie collectors ............. other news happening is disc aka dvd roit its happening to many keep your movies in your house not in any basement if you can feel any air around your house thats a bad sigh there
They said the same from CD's. The lifespan was said to be even less. All my Disc's from the 90s are working fine. So do all DVD's. Professional pressed Blu Rays are said to last 15 to 50 years or even longer and when there will be a defect one, I buy the movie again and when everything is gone, I still have my collection and can see, which movie I liked, look at the cover and simple stream it. And when it is not for streaming, there are always other ways to watch or get it. And when it is only for streaming and not to buy, I simple record it with QuickTime in Full HD and print a Cover for a DVD Box. Done. The only thing, where physical media is really dying are videogames, but most movies still come out on DVD or Blu Ray. Shows on the other side not anymore, but one can simple record them to make sure you can watch them, if the streaming site delete it.
