For economy, ive really been impressed with the bubble magus line of skimmers. great skimmate output. solid pumps. Quiet and dependable. If I needed "the next step up" so to speak I would go with a reef octopus, for the money they are extremely hard to beat and thier pumps are excellent.
Hi just got this skimmer had older model curve 5. I Know all skimmers make noise but this is making a humming sound only been running 24hrs. Will it become quiter after it breaks in?
