Thanks for the updated info. You are absolutely correct about the cost of the Arc Captain compared to the industrial machines a home DIY person can afford. Thanks again for the update.
Really appreciate your explanation for this, C.B., and Yeah you're absolutely right, we just had our longest vacation of the year and everything seems to be moving a bit slowly on our end. I apologize for any inconvenience caused. We're just kicking off year two over here, and yeah, we've got our fair share of kinks to iron out. Really appreciate you flagging some areas for us to level up in, like beefing up our customer support, streamlining our shipping, and of course, cranking out even better gear. We all believe that connecting with professional welders like you who have a positive attitude towards Budget welders, and the welding community you guys represent, is crucial. So guys Keep the feedback and ideas rolling in C.B. vids and comments. We're all in to support the welding community however we can.
You make a valid point about the affordable machines. I’ve had two Lincoln Power Mig 210MP’s and love them. Used the first one for 6 years in a professional setting but not continuously. It was made for the home garage/farm shop market at only a 20% duty cycle but when they replaced it a couple years ago with the 215MPi it was selling for $1999.00. That was still out of reach for the occasional home garage user.
Thanks for the update and thanks for caring for the small guys startin out. I got a 185 amp multi- process machine and im workin my ass off tryna make a business from scratch and boy is it a struggle. Having people like you motivating me n keepin me goin to reach my goals n helping out guys like me is the best. Some day ill be roaming around in my own super service truck and guys like you, austin n IC weld sure made a big contribution
Budget machines are great for hobbyists... and as you pointed out, they open the door for many people to learn something that may have been out of reach for them before. And the reality is, those machines really don't get used for high level things that require an expensive machine.
looking forward to your review of the spool gun. hope it is better quality than the eBay cheep ones. I haven't used mine yet. sure impressed with their other items so far. Thanks!
Can you supply me with your ARCCAPTAIN order number or contact information where you can be reached?...ARCCAPTAIN would like to supply you with a gift in compensation for the issue...I've been in contact with them and they want to try to make sure that you get your welder and a gift for the inconvenience.
Great news appreciate your videos on the arccaptain its the reason I bought the mig200 . Im not a welder at all by trade i just wanted a cheap well rounded machine i could afford & easily use .. thanks for all the info
I did a lot of research before settling on the arccaptain MiG 200 and it has been great for me to learn with, did order tig gun with it to learn how to use it looking forward to you testing the spool gun and upgrade MiG torch. Thanks for your videos
Now CB, what we have here, is a communication issue. Sometimes, "holiday" can be like Valentine's, or Halloween.......but then, there's grand, time honored celebrations with family and friends, that bring work/school/nearly the postal service to a halt; like deer season. You see, If they would've just said, "Imagine that Feb 8-17 is our deer season"......then, you'd have been trackin & known that everyone is truly unavailable until the conclusion- 😂🤣
*Use Case Use Case USE CASE!* I do professional photography. You have to have an affordable entry-level camera, or guys like me would've never been able to start! I now own $2,000 & $2,500 camera bodies (just the camera, no lens lol), and let me tell you. There was no way I was dropping $2000 + $500-$1000 on a pro lens when it was just a hobby lol. DEFINITELY not while on disability lol Also, the largest camera store in the US / World fully shuts down for Jewish Holidays (Orthodox). I continue to give them my business because they're a competitive, no-nonsense company. So, it's not unheard of, but can be a wrinkle at times. They post it all over the website / social media, etc.
I love what Arccaptain make , there machines look And work Amazing unfortunately there not affordable to everyone, for a 4 in 1 Arccaptain here in Australia is over $2500. Unfortunately living off a disability pension , it’s way out of my $ . But one can Dream,
Actually this shows the sad state of our educational system in the United States. The average american doesn't even know anything about the history of our country much less the customs and common practices of other countries. Heck, you would be hard pressed to find someone who knows all the state capitol locations-including their own state. All of this I learned before I was in middle school.........
MIG heat settings are in volts, never amps. If your in MIG mode there is no setting for 30 amps. Most MIG settings you'll normally use is gonna be from 17 to 21 volts...and if you use the sync feature the machine will set the wire speed for you
Great respect for standing up and explaining the situation. Thanks.
