beautiful village in Evia, Psaropouli, traditional gemista cooked in wood oven and fishing S1.E1

The first episode of Savor Greece takes place in Northern Greece on Evia Island. Shortly after my visit to Psaropouli, the North part of the island suffered devastating damage from the 2021 summer wild fires. Many villages and forests were completely destroyed, including Vasilika and Agios Nikolaos in Elinika, futured in this video.

Restaurant "O Psaras" in Psaropouli, the owners Joan and Dimitris Theodorou cooked "gemista", stuffed vegetables cooked in a wood burning oven.
Christo and Anna’s organic farm provided the produce for the gemista.
Ouzeri "O Harris" in Psaropouli, fishing with Dimos and his dad Harri Markou, mom Vaso and aunt Sofia grilled the red mallets and "garidomakaronada" shrimp pasta

This video was so enjoyable to watch I love everything about Greece the people are so friendly and helpful and so ready to support others plus the islands are stunning and Greek food is a favorite of mine thanks so much for sharing this amazing video I hope the islanders overcome the tragedy of the recent fires have a good week my friend awesome video.
