I tried NY Korean style Tteokbokki for the first time. It was crazy spicy but it was crazy good. I ate it while drinking water the whole time. Lol

It doesn't need to be spicy always. There are some other variants that are rather sweet. Making something really spicy is a sort of trend now in Korea.
