its also frowned upon, when you call yourself, jesus... anyways... god bless you guys! I still have a couple questions unanswered as im new to this whole crank and rod bearing replacement. I need to understand how he removed the secondary timing chain, without interrupting the main chain...? Another question, this rod cover is annoying to fully remove, I only removed half of it, as the other half is still covering over the first and second cylinder/rod. idk, how to fully get to it, some advice! Thank you all! God bless you guys.

@@TheMexicaNigga I never had much money and always had shitty cars so I was forced to learn how to fix every problem I've ever had with them. I can confirm that turning a wrench to take a part off and put on another does not a mechanic make. When I was younger I used to use "tryagnostics" until I learned "diagnostics" and there is always more to learn.

just came back to give a huge shout out! I used your video to get our little 2007 chevy equinox back and rolling. For real life saver. I don't usually comment but this video actually saved our family. We are young and broke, had our first baby just as the pandemic blew up at the beginning of March 2020. Lost my job. Wife's chevy gave her the low engine pressure light. Had it towed to chevy and they quoted $6000+. Basically new engine on a $2500 car. That's where your vid came in. Watched it multiple times and got all the pro tips. Along with a haynes manual, a friend loaned engine lift. The only annoying part was that getting the oil pan off this equinox required removing the trans axle, drive shaft, intermediate axle, lifting the engine a couple inches to clear the transfer case. In the end, it cost me $200 and a week of a few hours here and there to get it back on the road. 2020 to 2022, still driving "strong" haha. The engine still has a small knock on start up and high revs(obviously, like you said, not the perfect repair. Probably main bearing damage) but it's still a daily communter/grocery getter/baby sitter drop off machine. We really appreciate you putting out videos like this that help folks who can't affor the through and through "professional" fix. You aren't scared to fix something enough that it works for the time being. Thanks again man and god bless.

    Lack of discipline:
If someone always fought your battles for you and pampered You, then there is a chance you could probably fall into the spoiled mentally.
The sad part about it is when you get into the real world ( where people will eat you alive and have no pity for you) you will be crushed when your spoiled needs are not met and things and people never respond the way you want them to. If you expect life to cater to you and give you the red carpet then be ready to always get your feelings crushed. This is the most narcissistic generation (all about me) that has no back bone and runs from the problem.
If you spoil your kiddos then they will never learn how to stand up and step up. And in time they will be damaged from you never teaching them the way they needed to be skooled.
As a result we have a spoiled generation of people who expect something for nothing and think they are entitled to what ever they want.
    There's a sane that says
" Your parents can't give you what they don't have"
If you got young kids and you don't understand why they talk back or give you attitude. You better go deep and figure it out, because your baby could be in serious trouble later on in life. Bad attitude, Drug addiction, prison bound, cocky jerk, vanity to appease others, disliked, the list goes on.
All this stems from a lack of teaching and good discipline.
When I was young I put my mom's threw serious trouble always in and out of juvenile court. Then one day a detective came to the house to investigate me.
Long story short, my moms couldn't take it and said take his A#$ to jail and they took me down for questioning then later in the years i ended up in juvenile hall.
My parents let me get handled by the law and go through the pain. hate to say it but
    I NEEDED THAT.
    Proverbs 22:6
Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
Skool your babies before the streets do
In Jesus Christ, Holy Name HANDLE IT!

ATF is superior to WD-40 as a friction modifier and cleaner. Toothpaste is an excellent final journal polish. It is VERY important to thoroughly rinse all polishing residues from all surfaces when done, preferably with brake parts cleaner. Be very careful- not to get oil or assembly lube BEHIND a bearing when installing. The surfaces must be clean and dry, or the shells could spin. Before first startup- pull the fuel pump fuse. Crank the engine about 15-20 seconds. This will build oil pressure, without any running force. Wait a minute and repeat. Reinstall the fuse, start it, let it fully warm up. Drive it gently the first 50 miles, to break in properly.

I learned and witnessed from my Grandfather, long deceased now, that every piece of cigarette paper is 0.001. We can use a new bearing and plastigauge. The paper goes between the bearing and the rod AND between the bearing and the cap. Make sure that the oil hole is not plugged if you need one. This will work for your mother's Comet but not for a Saturday-night-special or so I think. The engines that I saw him do it on were just daily drivers for older people. No rebuilding necessary and it wasn't a short term fix. It was a long term fix. I hope this helps someone. Today, I would put a high volume oil pump and a 20/50 oil. God love you, brother.

Stumbled upon your video as recommended because I was looking into engine knock and learning as much as I could , and I was blessed to see this . Thanks for the info and especially was happy to see you incorporate Christ and the lesson ! Blessed me tremendously brother met me at just the right time . You remind me of me of a Christian brother from Miami named Ruben , he’s another old school brother and I value your generation and your different approach to things . All that to say God used you brother and I appreciate it . I’ve been struggling with manning up in my walk .

Amen brother! I watched this video even though I didn't need new piston rod bearings but just wanted to see another repair video. You did a great job explaining how to do this repair as well as preaching the Gospel and tying it in with this repair! I've been a believer in Jesus Christ since '91 but my eyes and ears were glued to this video for the whole time. The way that you preached and shared your testimony spoke volumes to me even though I already knew the Truth. Honestly, I was going to stop watching after the engine repair but I just couldn't, something (the Holy Spirit) made me stay for the rest of the video, I felt him working through you to remind me of how he came into my life. Thanks Brother for putting out this video to rejuvenate the fire 🔥 in my heart for Christ! God Bless Brother, and keep up the great content as you combined two great subjects into one: Jesus Christ & cars!

@@frogmanvc islamic people are guiding their spiritual life according to Coran, not to Bible. As you may know, islam's Coran is different than Bible. I read on internet that some Coran's verses talk about violence, beating your wife and so. Does our God teach such things? Our God is love.
So i can't agree that Allah is the islamic name for the real God. The ones who follow the real God, have their life guided by Bible, not Coran.
Now about catholics...i think those people are following a wrong path. Whatever their leaders may say, truth is Bible has no expiring date, it's still and will be valid!

It is gonna last more than 6 month. But another thing, it is good to run it a week and rechange oil and filter and at this point add a Duralube tefflon bottle. Have a nice day and take care.
