I'm not so sure that is pure aluminum. Many of the parts that went into the melt are not normally made from pure aluminum, many are made from "pot" metal, a low quality zinc alloy, sometimes mixed with aluminum. Not being there and doing it, I can't say for sure. I know I saw a brake or clutch lever, they're not often pure aluminum, you're doing good to get decent pot metal with most of them, tho some were aluminum ... it depends on who made it and when.
Here's something you can recycle... milk jugs and plastic bottle tops and the like, I believe they call the plastic PPE2 or something like that. It melts at only 350 degrees F, (I don't know what that is Centigrade) and can be molded into various items. I'm playing with it myself on a small scale. If you could get enough plastic, and a good way to melt it, I'm thinking you could cast dimensional lumber like products. or cast things like chairs in one go if you can figure out the mold process. Or maybe stay small and cast small things. Oh most grocery bags here are made of the same plastic. Unfortunately, the clear plastics cannot be recycled in this manner. The clear plastic of soda and water bottles actually shrinks when heated.

No visible preheat on the “mold”. Took a bunch of metal off with the slag. Slow down with your pouring, your first one was good but you spilt every time after. Get actual molds not a muffin tin. You should never cheap out in an operation like this
