Lots of crappy street music and mediocre Cajan and Creole food if that's your thing. Stay away from Bourbon Street, the biggest tourist trap in the U.S.
This happens when places become so touristy (and not only in New Orleans, or U.S.). But NOLA is not only about Bourbon street, I think one can find a bit of everything around the city..
I have always heard good things about New Orleans. My son and I went there for the first time last summer. We loved it. We both love Jazz, and enjoyed the music and surroundings.
Is Lafayette Cemetery back open to the public again for tours?
The cemetery was closed, unfortunately, at the time of our visit there.
