    Thank you for the video.
As a past owner of the Corsair Air 540 and and Air 240 (sons current PC) these new dual chamber cases interest me.
I prefer the back mesh cases over the glass for better airflow but it’s nice to see these come back with more versatility than the Air series.
I think I could fit a AIO for the GPU as well as a AIO in the 2500D.
With the Air 240 the margins were too tight for this kind of setup with the parts I had.

Interesting case for sure. I hope the industry will come up with a standard for backside connectors sooner rather than later. Other than that, this case might tempt me to move to something with tempered panels, which would be a first for me!

Really liking this case but wish it would fit regular ATX motherboards. It’s actually larger than the Lian Li 011 Air Mini and that one will fit ATX.

There is a bigger ATX variant of the case. O11 Air Mini does appear to be a better option in comparison & that has 5-7 GPU brackets vs 4 here. But this case has support for the project zero motherboard which is being adopted slowly but surely.

I have a 3 slot GPU, Aorus Master and I was interested to see how low the GPU sits (fat one) cause in my current case, which is mATX also, the GPU sits way too low and it's literally choking, trying to get some air in. I'm glad you've put the biggest GPU possible in it, unlike other vids I've seen where they would put two slot - two fans GPU in it and be like "oh there's plenty of space" I mean yeah, cause you have a tiny GPU 😂
So thanks guys for this. I'm seriously considering getting this case.

I like the extensive amount of fine mesh, which should be effective dust catching.

Literally just got a 5000X delivered, only to find out these are out today. 😂 I think I'm gonna swap it for the 2500X. I really like the looks of it and it will fit perfectly on top of my desk, which the other one can't. Good thing I still haven't bought a motherboard, since this one requires you go mATX.

What's the story with the hd audio cable??? Why didn't he want to plug it in?

By all means, let's blow air into the side of the case and kill the static pressure. SIde airflow is dumb. 2nd only to glass front panels.

Man this video just proves you should go over a spec sheet before trying to review a case. “Oh it can only support SFF power supplies. Oh maybe not. I just have to remove this bracket”

  • @Boria0

What a disappointment of a case
Somehow they managed to make it larger than O11 mini, but unlike the mini, it doesn't fit ATX mobo
It's 469mm long or 479mm long depending if you trust Corsair specsheet or their photo and still doesn't support 3x140 fan
That's 50mm or 60mm longer than mini, yet it doesn't fit 280 rad or 2x140 fans on the side
What's the point of mobo area being so wide when it won't fit e-atx anyway
Case this expensive and they can't afford 3 extra grommets
Should have either been much shorter and tad lower for the hardware it can accommodate or same size maybe tad longer and fit ATX mobo and 420 rad
BTW watching other reviews there seem to be a slight conflict between cpu power connectors in BTF mode and that hard drive cage. Cage pushes on the cables substantially. Maybe psu cables dependent. Not sure
I was secretly hoping pc world had this case and Alaina would be reviewing it. Now I'm glad her time didn't get misused on this
Amount of wasted potential here is directly proportional to the amount of wasted space

This seems overly harsh. He's always seemed like a nice guy and has been writing about Tech for over 15 years, was editor in chief of Maximum PC in the early 2000s and founded Adam Savage's Tested. He's clearly knowledgeable, or wouldn't have been in the industry that long.
I think part of the issue is that videos like this need an 'expert' role and also an 'enthusiastic amateur' role to be the audience surrogate or else they don't work.
