This is VERY impressive! I thought i was good with the shortcuts until i saw this video lol. Do you have all of the commands memorized? You go through them so quickly that I don’t realize you issued a command lol. And why do you have all of those auto casts on Cloud and Revival on Barrett?
Sorry for getting back to this so slowly. Yes I have the commands I will do memorized, it makes things a lot easier for sure. Also, I have Auto Cast Materia and Revival Materia on some characters because they both RAISE the magic stat of each character. Auto Cast raises the stat higher but they both raise the stat. awesome video! Also quick question, does restarting the chapter potentially change which characters will be your team for the jenova fight? Every playthrough I seem to start with red and tifa, and end with barret and cait sith. I wonder if restarting the chapter does anything to change that?
Sadly, as far as I know, it’s completely random and you seem to have your set team composition permanently. I’ve restarted the chapter many many times and I always got the same team comp. It’s really weird.
Maybe it’s a dumb question but how can you gain limit with parries without using HP MP swap? You had that for Cloud but not for Tifa and she still builds limit while parrying
HPMP Swap only amplifies the amount of Limit you gain with each parry. You still gain Limit through parrying without it, but it’s a way smaller amount.
If you damage it to the point where the game locks Jenova’s health bar BEFORE the barrier shows up, your next hit should destroy the barrier in one hit.

How did you instantly break the barrier in phase 1?
