UPDATE: Teriaq is getting better and better with age. I am getting more of a nice spicy, leather base now. This could be a 10 out of 10 perfume in the future🤓🤓🤓
I got my Tonka one a few days ago, went back and forth since hearing about it. I don't know how many times I put it in cart and took it out, that being said I am absolutely in LOVE. My favorite middle eastern purchase to date and I have quite a few:) Heard about you from Jaxbeauty, so glad I did:))
Jackie is great!🥰🥰🥰 I love her videos🤓🤓🤓 I’m so glad you’re here. Tonka smells so good and the bottle is beautiful 🤓🤓🤓Thank you so much for watching.🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Great video! I've definitely compiled my list of Middle Eastern frags I will be purchasing over thr next few months. The ones I was on the fence about are now for sure buys, after this video! Tonka Oud is on the very top of my list. Love your descriptions!!
Hi Jamie. I’m so glad you tried Khair Pistachio. I told you it was excellent!😊 I never layer my fragrances. I can only smell one of the two, so I feel it’s a waste of my perfumes. That’s just my preference!😁
I may have to try the Khair pistachio. I don’t like yum pistachio because of the soapy aspect it gets really scratchy to me. December vanilla is nice to me but there is a honey aspect to it more so than sugared patchouli and it’s so short lived on me right now. I adore sugared patchouli so hopefully December vanilla will improve as it sits. I have had it about two weeks.
I definitely don’t get any soapiness from khair🤓🤓🤓 I definitely think that in general perfumes get better with age. That’s why I like to let them sit a little while.😋😋😋
@@spiritcloud5883 I will. Though I wore it yesterday and literally after 20 minutes there was nothing. I wear fragrance for myself so it’s disappointing for sure even if others can smell it. I’ll try though out of curiosity.
The dry down on the tonka oud- OH MY GOSH! So good. It wasn’t love at first sniff for me, but once 20-25 minutes passed by, I love it on my skin. Very sophisticated scent with a touch of sweetness. I just think the word SOPHISTICATION when I smell this. Wow!
I agree, It is absolutely beautiful and I thoroughly enjoy wearing it. I love how it never gets too sweet. It stays fresh. 🤓🤓🤓🤓 Thank you so much for watching.🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
I don’t love honor and glory. A lot of people get this amazing deep pineapple but to me it’s so masculine (and I like slightly masculine scents) and overwhelming. I may try ti layer it with something.
I’ve heard mixed reviews with honor and glory. It’s worked out fine for me so far but I have heard other people say the same thing that you’re saying. So it must be just different skin chemistries 🤔🤓 i’ve heard a lot of people talk about Infiniti Rose having a sweet jam smell, but I get more of a mint freshness 🤷🏻♀️🤣 it’s so interesting how our body chemistries and our noses pick up on different things🤓🤓🤓
21:30 it's interesting you bring up it being so powdery with this fragrance. I was not expecting the sheer amount of powder in barakkat Satin Oud. That thing is a powder bomb! But its not like a dry baby powder, it's more like a moisturizing powder. Like some luxury stick of deodorant or something. It's more like powdery in terms of florals too. It's a really interesting fragrance, and not what I ever expected.
I just purchased December Vanilla from Aroma Concepts on a good sale deal this Friday I can’t wait to get it also I just purchased a new perfume release from Daniel Rene I recommend it the perfume is called JAWHARI I would love to hear your thoughts on it I believe the perfume is a beautiful fragrance 💖
Oh my goodness thank you. That is such a big compliment.🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈🥰🥰🥰🥰 just always remember that everyone’s skin chemistry is different But I try to always give a thorough description on what my nose can pick up.🤓🤓🤓
When it comes to Fragrances, I've had my heart set on trying/buying Versace Crystal Noir for well over two years now. I've known that Ard Al Zaafaran had a dupe of that fragrance called Ameerat Al Ehsaas. But for me, it's so gotten expensive and way more hard to find. So I was looking into more dupe/clone options. Just recently I found a middle eastern dupe called, Versencia Noir by Maison Alhambra. I've not heard much of anyone talk about this fragrance yet. As a matter of fact, I'm legit the only person who's posted a fragrance review on fragrantica so far. I've not seen any others reviews, even though this fragrance was launched in 2022. After purchasing, receiving, and testing it quite a few times now, all I can say is that, if this is even somewhat close to the real thing, I'm not really so sure I want crystal Noir anymore. To me, the gardenia and coconut do not work together. They are way too conflicting to be paired together. The best way I can describe it is, it's like watching two guys in a UFC fight. They're going head-to-head for hours upon hours. It's clear it's going to be a tie no matter what and yet, they still keep fighting. The combination of those two notes has been giving me a headache every time I've tried it. In my opinion, I feel like jasmine would have suited that fragrance WAY more than the gardenia. I'm going to let my bottle macerate for a while and see if my opinion changes at all over time. But I also purchased a sample of the real CN to be absolutely certain of my feelings on it. (Apparently the EDT has been reformulated. The new formulation - box is brown and yellow. And the old formulation is a brownish/black box. So I'm not sure how that will affect the scent profile as a whole. I'm absolutely devastated that I'm not more in love with this fragrance. I really thought that I would adore this fragrance right off the jump. But I'm honestly struggling with it.
Crystal noir is one of those perfumes that I also have been meaning to test out for a long while now and just never got around to it yet🤣🤣🤣 I love your description about how they are like two fighters trying to battle it out. I completely get where you’re coming from with that analogy.🤓🤓🤓 I have not heard of versencia noir But I would like to get my nose on it🤔 I have heard of Lattafa Aseer for women EDP being compared to Versace‘s crystal noir but I haven’t smelt that one personally so I can’t comment on that. I love when you can find a good dupe for something more expensive🤓🤓🤓
Versace crystal noir is a difficult perfume. Did you try the edt or the EDP? The original release which I wore when it debuted was phenomenal. I dislike the new release. The edt is better. But go try both the edt and the edp, they are very different. But again they are both very difficult, intense fragrances.
Nice list! Thanks for sharing your experiences with these fragrances. I was tempted to buy Teriaq, especially considering that the nose behind it is Quentin Bish, a perfumer whose creations I usually enjoy a lot. There wasn't much info in that moment and I ended up not getting it and now I regret it cos I haven't seen it around ever since.
you are so welcome 🥰🥰🥰🥰 thank you for watching 🥰🥰🥰🥰Teriaq was definitely not a love it for sniff for me, but with a lot of these Middle Eastern perfumes, you have to let them sit for a bit 🤓🤓🤓 I am definitely starting to pick up more on the leather now which I’m very happy about🤓🤓🤓 It is available on Amazon unless it’s sold out again🤔
@@Mamabearperfumechannel btw, did you notice that this is the first time Lattafa tells us who's the nose behind a perfume? Bish works for Givaudan) Do you think the company is starting to create Lattafa's fragrances? That's my suspicion.

Middleeastern here cant believe all these scents are so popular in the UAE we dont find these fragrances interesting at all and they are available in supermarkets. We go for brands like abdul samad qurashi, Gissah, dar el teeb, arabian oud, amouage, swiss arabian especially their oils, Ajmal, we care especially about the quality of the ingredients and the longevity. Teriaq means antidote in arabic is an exception as the perfumer is a favourite am planning to pick it up ❤

I actually really hate warm spicy bases in perfume. Whenever I see warm spicy I get hesitant to blind buy something. I like pink pepper but I don't like cardamom or ginger that much. I prefer sweet with a hint of spicy or barely spicy. When something is spicy it makes me feel sick.
