We are all in this middle eastern perfumery rabbit hole at the moment. My infatuation started with Yara, then my local perfume shop started stocking them and it is a full blown love affair now. Hubby loves them too 🥰
Not gonna lie, when I get new middle eastern perfumes I take them straight out the back door and spray 10x on my trash can lid before shelving them for 1-2 months in my closet. I got the nicest smelling trash in town AND my perfumes improve nicely!

Yes! I do the same! I got three new additions yesterday. Open box, spray, put back in box, and let them sit! I almost always buy Middle Eastern fragrances out of season, so they have time to sit.

I have maybe 25 middle eastern perfumes and some of my top favorites are Nasheet (Ani is in my top 3 so that makes sense), rifaqaat, Liam gray, Ambre Eve, and Mayar. A ton more but those are so good!

I literally couldn’t vibe with Ebhar at first but now I love it! I also love Zukhruf pink. It’s like Yara but a milkier version.

Garbage. Weak and smells light and just not like a perfume , like a somewhat coconutty body spray.

Thank you for these reviews! I was so sad about the Qaed Al Fursan Unlimited perfume. It smells like lotion, but in the worse way. The black version is better but leans masculine for me. Also, it took me way to long to get Honor and Glory. I love love love it! I'd say try Sublime next.

Agree on Nebras vs Eilish. I have both and never reached Eilish anymore, Nebras is so, so much better. Eilish is cloying to my nose but Nebras is just a better blended and has something that balances all the notes that I didn't get from Eilish

I’m just getting into perfumes and love your channel- I ordered so many samples you recommended. Would love to see a video for beginners on how you test your perfumes and what you look for and notice when you test something. Also: would love to see a video on what the biggest surprise scents you’ve ever smelled are that have changed your opinions on perfume.
Why am I the only one that finds Nebras a weird scent 😢 i hate it haha and I love vanilla scents usually
I pick up berries in Nebras way more than anyone ever says. Like dark berries topped with a warm vanilla custard. So comforting.

I totally get that too and I don’t see anyone else say it. I really like it but it is different from what I expected from how people described it. I mostly just get the sweet berries.

Hmmmm... Nebras really does sound good... Do I need it? Absolutely not. I have about 3 million (just an estimate) vanilla perfumes, and I absolutely don't need another one. I'm sure I have something that actually smells similar enough to it that I'd be adding back the redundancy I'm trying to eliminate. 😊 I haven't actually tried Eilish, so I don't even have a reference. I guess I'll have to go sniff just to see how close it is to something I already own.

I KNEW I could count on you, Anne!! Qaed Al Fursan Unlimited…😩 😷….I really don’t “get” that one. I sprayed out a lot and it’s been macerating for about a month. I’ll go back soon and see if it’s lost that horrible sandlewood+bug spray scent it has. I’d settle for a flat coconut vanilla scent…but I don’t get that from this fragrance like everyone else seems to.😭

My problem with middle eastern perfumes is I don’t get along with the musc they seem to use. Many have that screechy musc like the one you find in Erba Pura and I just don’t get along with that dna. Maybe I have not tried the right ones but I gave up on wasting my money
I love Nebras too, for me it smells a bit like mint&choclate After eight vibes🙂 I am intrested in your opiniom about Nasheet of Lataffa, it seems to be a dupe of Nishanee Ani.

I just got Quaed Al Fursan…. It’s a big NO. To me it smells like an even worse version of Pert Plus Shampoo from back in the day. No thanks. Don’t get the hype either.
I’ve been buying middle eastern cheapies lately but haven’t worn them. Been letting them sit. I just don’t know how long they are suppose to macerate?
I let them all sit for a month as a baseline, and when I go to revisit them, if I still don't like something at that point, I'll declutter it. If I like it, but it's not a love yet, I'll let it sit longer and keep revisiting it until I've formed my opinion :)

The turquoise one, Shaghaf Oud Tonka 🩵 is gorgeous, a beast and a dupe for BDK Velvet Tonka. Honor & Glory is a winner for sure. Glad to see this content Anne - for a multitude of reasons ME/Arabic fragrances are of interest to so many of us. There are tons of interesting affordable fragrances to explore and I’m having great fun doing it. Looking forward to Part 2! 👍🏻

@@zion915 I have not smelled that one so could not tell you….Oud Tonka is really an airy nutty tonka scent. I don’t get a lot of florals, no real rose to my nose.

Al Fursan smells like fragranced bug spray to me. I jumped on that hype train but it didn’t cost an arm and thigh so hey.
I got Qaed Al Fursan Unlimited before it exploded and went viral. Omg I love this so much. And my nose don't smell what you are smelling. I smell deep white chocolate and calmingly yummy? Idk what others smell on me when I wear it tho. I did ask my teen son and he smelled white chocolate too.

Lattafa Qaed Al Fursan Unlimited didn't work for me either. It scent was terrible. I really need to check out Honor and Glory.

I wish I got what other get from Honor and Glory. I’ve had it maybe two months and sprayed it a bunch first and a couple times since and cannot get along with it. It’s super masculine to me (and I love unisex and masculine leaning scents).

Love the way you describe fragrances !! I’m really curious what you would think of Lattafa musamam white intense (I may have scrambled the name there). I love the creamy coconut feel but I just got it so still letting it sit.
I do have Honor and Glory and do love it. I want to thank you for telling everyone to empty the straw, then let it sit for awhile. Too many get them and are immediately disappointed, give it time and for the most part you will be pleasantly surprised. Great video!!!!

I think it's way better and more interesting than the white one. It has pineaple, saffron, cedarwood and oud. Loved this video

Loved the video, so great to hear your takes on these. I listened to the hype and feeling the notes were my thing, I rannnnn to buy Lattafa Qaed Al Fursan Unlimited the moment I could find it. And it's been macerating, but still don't like it. I thought it was just me that felt this had a plastic thud of an aura about it....I kept checking the bottle to see if it was plastic or not as well, every time I sprayed. Very disappointing, barely any "creaminess" just a musky-ish cloud of cheap coconut at best...no lasting power either...you'd have to layer it with something else to get use out of it. A big nothing in my opinion. I'm curious to try the Lattafa Bade’e Al Oud Honor & Glory as I've been tempted by Biancho Latte but I'm not a fan of superrrr sweet fragrances.
if you're not a fan of sweet fragrances, I don't think Bianco Latte will be your cup of tea, definitely one to sample first then :)

I like to wear it mostly in the fall, but early spring would work as well :) I just think it may be a bit much for warmer weather due to the warm spicy profile

Gorl yes!! The Qaed Al Fursad in the white bottle!! You explained it so perfectly and how I felt about it!! I think I found my nose twin!! The coconut conditioner/plastic-ey scent was my exact impression!! Did not like it at all!

I bought Honor & Glory on your recommendation and LOVE it! Just bought it in January and am thinking I need to buy another bottle already. Have you tried Khaltaat Al Arabia Royal Blends EDP? I’ve heard another reviewer compare it to H&G, but that she prefers it.
They smell similar to me but not the same. Royal Blends is like apple pie. H&G is slightly sweeter with the pineapple instead of the apple.

Honor and Glory was such a miserable fail for me. I ordered it blindly based on your review but it doesn't sit right on my nose or my husband's nose. And somehow they did not let us return it. So I have a full bottle waiting to be donated. Luckily it's cheap so I am okay.
