I am a slightly wavy hair kind of girl, probably 2A😅, I like the way you say your hair gets bigger and bigger 🤩I love the fact that you embrace your beauty so much😊, you inspired me to find a way to work with my 2A hair💡 peace and love ✌🏼
Yes please! I'm afraid to get layers because I always end up with this mushroom looking cut that I hate, but I need them and don't know what to ask for or do myself
Diffusing from wet is always a struggle for me too and sometimes unavoidable but if it works 🤷♀️. Your hair looked lovely so I am going to give this product a try. Thank you 😊
This is a product I'm very curious to try. Cantu activator is heavy for me. I also want to try blueberry bliss gel and leave in. I have very similar hair to you
Your hair looks amazing. I have very long hair & thinking of twisting damp & putting in a bun over night with the AG...be interesting how it turns out...hopefully with a lot of body like yours:) Thank you for the vid!
@@businessaccount7524 Tried so many things in the end but unfortunately, not much helped my hair which is very fine & straight even though I do have a kink halfway down so I can give it a wave but need layers & didn't really want to have them at the time. Maybe when we come out of lockdown again in the UK might get it cut with layers & see how it turns out:)
I feel like it plumps the hair and keep it hydrated for future days without having to restyle, also helps with definitely and prevent frizz. However it can also hinder any volume you may be trying to achieve if too much is left in. It’s really all about how you feel best. I would play around with the water you leave in! May yield you different results
Be careful. Doesn't work for everybody and it's really bad to assume that it does. Your hair may get over moisturized or weighed down easily. In my experience maybe try it a bit at a time. Leaving lots of water in the hair is promoted a lot and shouldn't be. Just a word of precaution because I fell into that trap a long time ago and paid for it. 😊
Yup, just like I mentioned different amounts of water can yield different results. It’s all about personal preference- from the stylists I’ve seen recommend it and from the experiments I’ve done myself on my hair it definitely plays a role in the hydration of hair- I have not personally dealt with “over moisturizing” but everyone has different experiences. There’s also a difference in climate, water, porosity of the hair, damage, etc. There is not 1 rule to really anything when it comes to hair, except that it’s all unique.
I find if you don't have dripping wet hair, you won't get clumps and it will be more stringy. I put some product in, but just enough to make clumps, then squeeze out as much water as I can and glaze on more product with wet hands, and then plop.
You look great! Question: I know you wanted to show this styling product’s effectiveness by itself for your viewers but if you were just styling with it for yourself what would you pair with it? I already have this product but I haven’t tried it yet. I have high porosity hair that frizzes up easily. So, mainly need moisture, definition, and help curl clumping.
Your hair is glorious. My hair is bra strap length thin fine and barely wavy....and it would take me like ten years and lots of bald spots to brush it upside down
I love your haircut and all your layers! What do you ask for when you go to the salon? More layers on top? Or more layers on the bottom? Or short layers all over? Sorry for asking so many questions but nobody ever cuts my hair right!😢
My best advice is to show your stylist pictures/videos of what you want and clarify exactly what you DONT want. I have a layered haircut but it’s evenly distributed, it’s also cut to my hair’s texture & density.
@@IrenesBeautyTimes if you could do a haircut video it would be great. I just left a message on another of the comments but will recap for you in case you don't see it lol I always end up with a mushroom looking mess when I get layers, my hair is thick and about the same length of yours and your cut looks amazing and just what I would love to have but never get. I've been cutting my own hair and might be able to do this with some visual instructions on where your layers start or at least be able to tell the hairdresser more of what I'm wanting. Stay safe and healthy during this time of sickness ♥️
I find my hair is so thick that I have to apply product in layers. It gives a more defined look but little volume (at least on day 1). It's interesting to watch you put product without applying in layers and still getting great results...have you tried applying products in layers? Curious if you have and if this video is the way you prefer to apply product on the regular. Also how do you know you have coated all your hair with product (even the inside). I saw you flip from side to side but I find that still doesn't give my hair in the middle product...great video btw and you and your curls are beautiful
Have you tried any of the other AG shampoos and conditioners and gotten good results with them? I can't use this line because it has Coconut oil in it which always gives me acne.
Hi! I’ve used their naturals line for about 4/5 years… Balance & Boost are always my go-to’s. I don’t have any allergies though. I have sensitive skin in general but not any specific allergies or sensitivities.
Did you have to play around with the diffuser to make it fit on the dryer? I'm not sure I can get that dryer at Sally's here in Canada. I would like to try the diffuser, but I have a dryer I do like and not sure the diffuser will fit on it. And ordering the diffuser and possibly the dryer from the US is expensive. Your hair is gorgeous. And you make it look effortless. I feel like doing my hair is a workout, lol! I can use the same products and never get consistent results. I have been using the AG shampoo and conditioner, but haven't tried the leave in. I wish I could get a travel size. I have tried the Remedy and find it a bit oily for my hair, but am going to try it in the shower before my styler. I've tried it on dry hair to tame frizz.
This diffuser fits perfectly - the xtava diffuser fits a smaller hole. I wish I knew which other ones it fits. I do find that my collapsible diffuser works just as good though!
@@IrenesBeautyTimes Thanks for replying! You like the collapsible diffuser just as well as the Xtava? Would this be the one at Sally's|? We do have those here. I actually don't mind my diffuser but the Xtava is intriguing! Travelling to Florida for 2 weeks soon and wish I could buy the Xtava in a retail store, or at least see it!
Did you get regular layers cut or a curly cut my hair is just like yours. I'm an AG fan myself!! You have all the same products in your shower that I do. I noticed you didn't use the AG Curly shampoo after using the balance shampoo was wondering why. I usually use the AG balance shampoo, then the AG Curly shampoo and conditioner. I've never tried the Balance Conditioner or the leave in. I might have to give it a try.
I use that too.. recoil is a little waxy when used to much and it needs to be used imo with a gel.. also pricey.. sorry AG boost line a bit drying for me.. glad it worked for you
I didn’t find it was waxy, the Ag Naturals like is definitely on the more cleansing side but I find the conditioner is great for balancing and closing the cuticle after cleansing - I use it in conjunction with other lines to make sure my hair is hydrated 👍🏼 I actually found I got great 2nd and 3rd day hair with recoil on its own! I was pleasantly surprised. I also love it with a gel 🙌🏼
Some products take longer than others to dry due to their ingredients. Another one that takes forever to dry it Kinky Curly Custard. I refuse to use it. Take hours, even with a dryer.
For me, it’s mostly the density of my hair and dependent on how much water I style with. Porosity Can also affect dry time, along with length, etc. There can be many reasons 😊
Looks like you have lots layers cut into your hair, would love to know more about y our hair cut
Also my stylist recommends using this on damp hair I tried it and it works!

Have you tried it? I have 2a hair too
Thanks for your video! I just found CGM and your channel. I appreciate any and all tips as I start my curly journey.
You have gorgeous hair! Working on curl training. Thank you for this. 🤍
Please make a video on how you cut your hair it's so good!
Yes, mine is too layered. How do you get yours cut?

Looks good with no denman brushing!

Yes- I much prefer to air dry as far as time goes but I’ll be honest my hair always looks more out together the more I diffuse
The diffusing struggle for me is real too!!!😆 Your hair looks amazing!!! Thank You for this vid!! Loved it!!💖👍🏻👏🏻
I hate diffusing 😐😂😂😂
Same here!!! So much time spent diffusing when I could be doing other things, lol!😜
Right!
I swear by my dyson dryer with the diffuser on it. My curls have never looked better. I got a refurbished one and it is worth it!
I've been loving the ag natural line! May have to try recoil at some point!
Yeah! I really enjoy the consistency and ease of it
IrenesBeautyTimes yes! It IS so consistent, I've never seen my hair so curly!
Love the re coil
Hi Irene, how often do you apply this styler? Do I do it every day, the days I want it to be super curly, or does it have a lasting effect?
Nice! Very nice! I enjoyed very much to watch! 🙂 Wow, you have been blessed in a lot of hair! 🙂🌺❤
Thanks!
Wow absolutely love your hair so pretty 😍 ❤❤😘🥰🥰🥰🥰
Love your hair!!!! I just received this in my Amazon order today... can't wait to try it!

just curious what color rods did you use for your perm? :(or is it naturally curly) i love the natural curl look, your hair is beautiful
