This is awesome. I am a huge fan of both Sevendust and Disturbed. I think Disturbed needs to do a studio recording of this cover. O and I agree with beerdeezrool. Sevendust should cover a Disturbed song.
wow I didnt think it was possible to "cover" a Sevendust tune. Disturbed did a pretty damn good job of it here, hats off. Pretty damn bad ass song no matter who does it. SevenDUST@!@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ fukin awesome
yea ur right. disturbed is great live seen like 5 or 6 times. im not a fan of their newer stuff but the sickness is one of my all time favorites. but talent wise between lajon and dave its not even close
well, it is a good cover. Disturbed kicks ass no doubt about it. However, I don't recall reading anything as to Lajon sayiing anything bad about this cover. I like sevendust too, but I think this is a good cover. No doubt Lajon and DAve know each other and Lajon probably liked this cover as well.
Yeah Sevendust was supposed to be with Disturbed here in Milwaukee on Jan 16th. But at the last minute they cancelled or something and it was 10 years instead. I was pissed
did you see them in huntington? thats where i saw them 2 days ago, and they did kick ass, but disturbed's lead singer started to loose his voice towards the end.
Of course covers won't be the same. Thats the whole point of doing a cover. To make it different and add some of your own flavour 2 it and to almost basically give worship to the original song/band. Mike Wengren drums for Disturbed.
Some bands can do covers and have it just fucking suck. Others, just have luck when they touch some other bands' song. Disturbec is fortunate enough to have that luck. Metallica has it too. But not many bands do have that "golden touch" with covers.
Whats he supposed to do? Sing it off key? Sing it without distortion in his voice? Sing it soft and gently like sound of silence? Go OH WA AH AH? Let's hear your suggestion
@calmdownbeavis7039 Well i forgot i made this comment it was so old, but before it goes away... I think it sounds great. But at the time, I guess I thought he was gonna do that OH AH AH thing lol
U know what people, I think Disturbed dod a good job at this. As I previously said before. I think Disturbed made it there own in a sense. A lot of u say Dave is no Lajon. Well, Dave is no James Hetfield. Lajon is no Ozzy. It goes either way people. Just think about it b4 u judge guys.
Drummer is lazy. This song is too powerful and bad ass for this band, in my opinion, they have no presence and lack personality on stage. Godsmack, Chains, Sevendust, Metallica, zepp, BLS... adsss what m talkng about. Imagine Pink Floyd playing "Sad But True" blows right?
I officially have a whole new respect for Disturbed. Well played, guys
I love 7D, and this is fucking awesome. I would kill to hear a clear studio version of it too.
This song suits David like a fuckin glove. Amazing tune.
The man has an amazing ability to make his voice good for almost any song. :D
David’s voice back then. Holy fuck. 🤘🏻🤘🏻
My favorite two bands are Seven Dust and Distured this is awesome
Coool we need a studio version
Favorite song covered by favorite band
That’s so accurate lmao

Pretty kick-ass tribute. Not an easy song to sing either. Kudos to these guys.
Great song! Brings me way back.
Wow. It's got its own vibe.... It's good.
So awesome
Disturbed fuckin' rules and this cover kicks ass.
dude this is awesome
this is a pretty good cover. David's and Lajon both have very strong voices.
@KingAttle
LoL, that's the way man walk *headbang* XD
yea ur right. disturbed is great live seen like 5 or 6 times. im not a fan of their newer stuff but the sickness is one of my all time favorites. but talent wise between lajon and dave its not even close

I am impressed. sounds great
not bad
SEVENDUST OWNS!!!!!!
Ever Did a Studio Version or Unplugged
Whatever you may think of the songs they write, can't deny the boys got talent. :D
🤘🏼👊🏼🔥
Yeah Sevendust was supposed to be with Disturbed here in Milwaukee on Jan 16th. But at the last minute they cancelled or something and it was 10 years instead. I was pissed
I've always thought Black kinda sounded like it could be a Disturbed song music wise, then I discovered this lol
Holy shit I was thinking the same thing. LMAO!!!
I would like to see Sevendust and Disturbed in Concert together..would have to be in a NFL stadium...both groups are THE SHIT
did you see them in huntington? thats where i saw them 2 days ago, and they did kick ass, but disturbed's lead singer started to loose his voice towards the end.
Separate leagues, but both great bands.
I second that. Sevendust will be the one and only band who can do this song to capture millions.
Hahaha. Finally someone said it. Thank you.
Of course covers won't be the same. Thats the whole point of doing a cover. To make it different and add some of your own flavour 2 it and to almost basically give worship to the original song/band. Mike Wengren drums for Disturbed.
lol...that would be cool to hear. who knows, sevendust might do a disturbed cover.
when was this? and was this is in lowell??
@jmd11185 stupify is just weird yelling. black actually has singing to it and thats what sevendust is about. the singing.
you are CRAZY.
Perfectly said djmoosenuts.
@DisturbedOne7890 nope. lajons voice.
David has nothing and i mean nothing on lajon, it was ok, but lajons voice is so powerful.
haha i think the cover was great. but the way the singer prances around the stage is fuckin hilarious to me. does it look funny to anyone else?
Some bands can do covers and have it just fucking suck. Others, just have luck when they touch some other bands' song. Disturbec is fortunate enough to have that luck. Metallica has it too. But not many bands do have that "golden touch" with covers.
i honestly thought it was Sevendust's lead singer for a moment. I think David should sing it in his own style...
Whats he supposed to do? Sing it off key? Sing it without distortion in his voice? Sing it soft and gently like sound of silence? Go OH WA AH AH? Let's hear your suggestion

@@sasumekyoto34 ahh you replied! I didn't realize this comment was 12 years old. I was 14.. now I have 2 kids.. Jesus... rock on brother

funny. nobody makes disturbed covers.. coz they are impossible to match
This statement was dumb 12 years ago, still dumb today
except for the fact that draiman sounds like a white guy and lajon's voice sounds like a black guy.
Hmmm,... good cover.
sevendust would never cover their shit. why down grade yourself. sevendust should cover 'cult of personality' by living colour though
not bad. not bad at all
He's gonna need more hair!
this is a really good cover, not as much bite in the vocals as lajon, but still very impressive
of course their not Sevendust dude. Sevendust isn't Metallica either.
yea, lajon is way better.
dave is not even close to lajon
zzzzzzzz
This is ok at best. Not bad but, they are NOT Sevendust
Drummer is lazy. This song is too powerful and bad ass for this band, in my opinion, they have no presence and lack personality on stage. Godsmack, Chains, Sevendust, Metallica, zepp, BLS... adsss what m talkng about. Imagine Pink Floyd playing "Sad But True" blows right?
gaytube. doesnt fuckin load
Sure it does. Have you ever seen him live? He acts like a clown with his body language just like in this video. Dancing and crap.
thanks david for ruining this song for me.
better than the sevendust version!
Mike Wenegran sounded like an amateur drummer Morgan Rose shits all over him and David sounded like LJ no one can't do this song other than SEVENDUST
Gross.
