Hi Dauminique, so glad to see you back at work. You were that driver's angel.
😊 thank you
Being an old dump trucker myself i enjoy your vids. God bless you for warning that operator about a dangerous situation.
Every quarry I’ve ever been to. They don’t allow drivers to get out of the truck for just that reason, it’s very dangerous.
That's part of what makes you a good driver---you're observant ! We have to be paying attention at all times. And kudos to you for most likely saving that guy's life girl ! And it's nice to see you back in your baby again ! Just a tidbit of useless trivia here which you likely already know, but if you hop on that rt.90 that you referred to and follow it until it ends, you'll be in Boston !! Keep on truckin' ! Stay safe.
A small act can have big dividends!!! You acted on your intuition and made a Huge difference in someone's life! All in a passing moment!
Now you can add guardian angel to your list!! Glad to see you are back, I was starting to think you forgot about us…😊
haha I've been busy! I'm trying to get back to making content.
Nice to see you back on the road stay safe
Thanks! You too!
@@DauminiqueTheDumpTruckDriveryes please stay safe out there Dauminique 🙏
Thanks
Welcome back Dominique in your beautiful dump truck. Oh, I miss watching your videos. I never get tired of the old videos. Hell yeah way to go girl.
Wow that IS a great view! Also with your story Im glad you did what you did with that driver. I'd almost call it a rookie mistake, but not sure how experienced the driver was.... You were at the right place at the right time to do the right thing. Congrats "Nikki " To me, you deserve a big safety award! At least everyone did what needed to be done & hold up. I'm sure the loader operator was grateful you saw what you did & held him up. I'm happy the driver did reach out to you to Tank you for your actions that day. 😊 Take care & see you on the next one ❤.
well done us old drivers looked after each other
We had this happen 30 years ago in a quarry in PA. This guy was fresh out of the military and new nothing about loading etiquette. Loader put 23 ton of 3/4 stone on top of him. Fortunately other drivers figured out that he was in the load and we’re able to dump him out the back. Basically unscathed but a little shuck up.
He was putting in sweep tarp,,,,, We also have X-tra large sweep tarps & hook them with rubber straps on the outside of trailer to keep this very thing from happening. That could've been a horrible situation in jst a matter of seconds
I'm a heavy duty recovery and thank you for doing that and saving me a hea y duty fatality call to that dirt yard too.....u are a gods savior too....
Nice piece of work noticing the other driver not doing what he should be doing and putting himself in danger, and it was also nice of him to thank you for being on your toes and stopping the loader operator from dumping the Bucket on top of the other driver. excellent work on your behalf. xoxo
Glad you're back. GOD works in mysterious ways. And uses people to benefit others you may not know why.
Oh , and I changed my channel name to BigAl California, from ALkennedy 1124,and I have a few vlogs now, not trucking, butDog and tractor, and race cars including sea sick, vlogs, give me a break, I’m learning, thanks BigAl California
We put a tarp in the nose of the walking floor to help sweep out the load otherwise there would be several inches of material on the floor to shovel out.
Excellent Dauminique🌺🌺🌺 I truly feel God put you in that place at the right time to save that drivers life. There are no coincidences in life. When working around heavy equipment heavy trucks you got to be on your toes at all times respect the equipment. All it takes is slip and things can go bad real quick.. You are a blessing.🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Good to see you back trucking 😊😊😊
Thanks 👍
Glad you're back trucking. Hope family & Truck are doing OK. Great job on saving the young man from injury.
Hi Dauminique & it's is Randy and i like yours video is Cool & Thanks Dauminique & Friends Randy
The dude in the trailer story makes it all worthwhile when you look back on that.
Oh, I can imagine the nightmares you were having Niqi 😂 I get the same vivid dreams of sh*t happening. It's just part of our intuitive trait we see/sense sh*t where people say how do you know that was going to happen. Were observers we notice stuff. You have to be aware of your surroundings. I worked in a small tight transfer station for 7 years. I was the equipment operator and bin truck driver. I had to be alert all the time. There were people dropping off their garbage or other stuff like scrap wood. You know the next time you visit that place, you'll be recalling that incident. There are sites/places I've hauled, too, that is bad juju. Usually , it's really stressful getting in and out of the site. When I have to revisit the site weeks or months later, my stomach starts churning. There are some real sh*t hole places we have to go into.
welcome back I missed you great job on saving that truck driver
Thanks 👍
I pull a live floor trailer, we either do not open our tarp until ready to be loaded. Or we set the clean out tarp in the nose of trailer, before we pull up to loading dock
I’m guessing most people here don’t know what you’re talking about with a clean out tarp in a walking floor trailer. OneLonelyFarmer (TH-cam) uses one on his New Jersey farm and has to set his clean out tarp to help empty his walking floor trailer of grain, fertilizer, lime, or large hay bales he routinely needs to haul. The clean out tarp helps to get the product out of the nose of the trailer without needing to sweep or shovel it out. Live floor trailers are the same as walking floor trailers. They’re designed to unload the product without being a dump trailer.
It's called Situational Awareness. You had it. He did not. Good job. Watch your 6 at all times.
I use waze instead of apple maps too??they auto correct u way way too many times a d most of the times they wrong wrong also..
LOVE THIS DRIVER. ❤
I like your videos yes it's a dangerous profession thanks for watching out for him and saving him but your story telling skills are killing me
It’s good to see you behind the wheel driving your truck again
U are amazing and beautiful 😍
Glad you back working with your truck and trailer, it has been a while since I have seen you, I live in Bothell
I've been out a bit truck and trailer. less the last few weeks.
21:17 $2,002,700 is the price of the house you were looking at across the street. $3,245,750 is the price of the house where you drop off your dump truck load! Dauminigue the dump truck driver, you were wondering?
Great 👍 to see you back in BD 1 😎Dave H
Thanks 👍
We all do dumb things at times, but I tend to steer clear of life endangering tasks in our jobs.
It's true we do.
Never trust an operator you don't know......
💯💯💯
I'm convinced there are no coincidences. God put you at that spot at the exact time you needed to be there to save that driver's life. Oh, and I'm 60 years old and get emotional every time I see God working.
I like to believe that is what happened.
@@DauminiqueTheDumpTruckDriver " For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways" Psalm ninety-one: eleven
I know that some companies won’t load a truck till they have contact with the driver to load
Trucking is fun and misery. Mostly misery! After 26 yrs of trucking I’ve finally had me enough of the crap nobody cares about drivers anymore and to be honest I don’t care about them either. Everybody Stay safe out and there. May the roads and always let you get home to you family.
We you and I ,are of the same clothe,,I do the same, thing if I see it and know, I will say something too, thanks BigAl California..
I need your peterbilt seat covers. Let's make a deal. 😅
Welcome Back. 🙏🏻🕊️😁
I.m so that you are back on TH-cam and I like watching TH-cam videos keep up the good work and I love the content in the videos
Thank you so much!
Wow! Welcome back it has been a while 💪💪🌹Please still I love to joined your Trucking business
Hey great to see you behind the wheel of your truck ❤. Hopefully your family are all ok.🙏🇺🇲💯
Thanks alot brother 💪💪🇰🇪
I'm glad you're back on again
That was good the driver acknowledged you saved his butt. If he would have done that in any of the yards we haul from, they would’ve tossed him out for at least a week.
You’re not allowed out of your truck and definitely not on top of your truck on company property.
40 years doing this and it’s crazy what people do. FYI, I do Maryland, DC and Northern Virginia.
Google Maps is my go to. Garmin has fallen short and Waze is questionable.
Many years ago, I was delivering sheetrock and forgot I had a bundle near the front that was shorter than the rest of the load. As I walked over the tarp I stepped into the void between the bundles and took a header off the truck. The Lord was with me and I rotated onto my butt instead of my head. I could have easily broken my neck or back. The consignee yelled out an eight, as it was the summer Olympics. I did have to take off a day or two after picking up a load of lumber (and tarping it). Another driver delivered it from the headquarters of the trucking company to Los Angeles. You rock, Lady.
Ok her shirt is to funny " Got diseal 😂 "
Diesel not diseal
Good to see you back in your truck, I hope that you have precluded Bobby from driving it unless it's absolutely necessary. Kudos for saving that driver's life and sharing it so others can learn from it.
I’m a loader operator and I always make eye contact with my drivers if I don’t see them I don’t load them and I always load the driver side
Once again you are witnessing hand of God in your life. Just like with drive tire blowout and slick driveway slid off road. Many folks care about you and your family and pray for you. I used to blow off many things until finally it hit me that God is real. Hope everyone stays alert and safe. Best to you and family. P.S Watermelon season soon back east! Yum!
TRUCKING IS A DANGEROUS PROFESSION
Yes, very dangerous. 1,620 truck drivers died in work related activites in 2022. 129 cops died in work related activities in 2021.
You just earned a new title. Angel. Not all angels have wings, but you surely earned yours that day.
Always make eye contact with the operator no matter what you're doing, seen someone get smashed while cleaning his apron, operator couldn't see the driver between the pile and his gate from his D8 pushing piles!
Welcome back. Stay safe.
Dauminique fisher you are the cutest and a true 👍 trucker girl what a truck driver is . I wish 🤞 you all the best in your career and your journey being a great truck driver due your thang momma. I think 🤔 you are a trooper and a fantastic mother beautiful family keep pushing much love ❤️
Glad to see you back to trucking⚠️💪🫡🌹💫
Me too!!
Great job Daum he's a lucky man you were there. Devine intervention put you on that job for a reason.
I love u sweetheart Dominic
Sooooooooo glad to see you up and running ,doing what you were meant to do!!!You were missed!
Dauminique, I may be wrong but I thought I could hear in your voice when describing this possible tragedy that you were definitely affected by the experience. Nothing wrong with having human emotion. It also looks and sounds like your shifting prowess is back.
Dauminique Head always has her head on a swivel. Good to see you are pushing out content .
Your story reminds me of something my dad did. He was a dragline operator and the was building a levee and every time he would swing around to dump the bucket the dozer operator was on the levee he kept telling him to back up when he swung around well he never did. My dad said if he’s there I’m dumping this 6 yds on the headache rack of that D6 sure enough he was there after we dug him out he never was in the way the rest of the night 😂
Hard to fix stupid.
Every day you jump into the cab and turn the key could be your lasts in the trucking industry. It's a dangerous way to make a living that's for sure. Been trucking over 30years driving a semi and for the last year+ Been driving a quad axel dump truck and love it.
That guy had a Gardian angel driving a dump truck that day
Well, the fact is, if you have a real hurt you will get emotional over it because you know without you noticing him chances are he gets a load of dirt dumped on him and his and he’s gone so for lack of better word, you noticing him and making iContact with them yeah The rest is history and you saved his life specially, for you grabbing a CB radio and tell him the loader guy, so yeah you saved his life. Yeah that’s pretty much how it goes and people like you and me who who care about other people, and who care about everybody elseno it’s in our nature to get emotional about it and get emotional about the simplest of things and if anybody else doesn’t like it that’s their problem that’s not your problem and that’s not my problem fact of the matter is you know you did the right thing
I try my best to always do the right thing. Something like that though isn't hard to do. It was easy. I'm just glad that I was paying attention.
Safe Travels & SUPER SUCCESSFUL TRUCKIN 4 U & Ur Fam
Hello Dauminique, glad to see that you're back driving your dump truck again, haven't seen a video of yours in a while, so I'm glad you made a new video & glad that you told that story about that guy & yes he should've waited until he was away from the ramp to do whatever he was doing & glad that you told the driver of the front end loader to stop before he dumped his bucket
your use of the engine brake is extreme.....................i live in Seattle
STOP IT OR I WILL HAVE YOU ARRESTED
We have to take care of people we work with big stuff stay safe
Welcome back and Welcome back your baby, the ultimate dump truck in all of the northwest. glad to see you both back on the road doing hauls just in time for summer road construction season
It's great to see you again. I missed my favorite dump truck driver !!!
Great to see you back been wondering how things were going.😊
It's so nice to see you again.
Guardian angel you are.
Glad your back !
Have to agree with ya, we get to see some amazing places! Couple of times been routed down some abandoned piece of property only for it turn into a majestic overlook.
Glad you was paying attention and looking out for your fellow driver. He should at least owe you a lunch. As always, glad to see you back in the saddle and rolling down the byways. Not sure which town that was, but it sure reminded me of Sioux Falls from when I was a kid. Lots of pretty country up in your area.
she's in Seattle.
Good on you for that save! I drive triaxles/combos on the side and one thing that was drilled into me was "do NOT pull up to the pile until you are READY to be loaded! Got something to fix - great. Stop on the side, fix it, THEN pull up to the loading pile". For good reason, I can tell.
I drive a dump truck for a small family owned gravel pit in Stevens County. Often I have to load myself out, especially if I'm getting material from one of the other yards we operate out of. The guy who usually loads me out at our pit doesn't pour rock unless he has eyes on the driver. Absolutely, safety first. I used to live on the wet side and drove for Reddaway in Tacoma and the whole Olympic Peninsula. I'm so happy to be on this side of the state in the boonies.
Oh Wow. the new CHANNEL "THE CONCRETE DRIVER " AND THE BEAUTIFUL STANWOOD GIRL "DUMP TRUCK DRIVER " DOMONQMIE BE FUN IF YOU TWO DO A "YOU TUBE CHANNEL VIDEOS TOGETHER 😊😊😊😊😊😅😅😮😢😢🎉😂❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Lol "Hog Fuel" , Unless you live in B.C. or Washington you probably don't know what that is........I do
A HERO CAN BE ANYONE never forget Dauminique in this life we have too look out for EACH OTHER... That's what gonna make the WORLD A BETTER PLACE!!!
That was some divine intervention right there. Your comment on the floating bridges got me curious and according to Wikipedia, we have 4 of the 5 longest floating bridges right here in beautiful western Washington.
Looking good and Drivings awesom 💯💯💯🇺🇲 but blue finger nails 😂😂😂😂😮
Que bueno volver a verte Dominique muchas bendiciones 😊🙏🏻👍🏻💪🏻
The suffixes and prefixes of streets/aves can be confusing. East of Lake Washington almost everything is NE or SE. A NW designator would be in north seattle or maybe SHoreline. To further confuse, there is an area in Kirkland where NE 116th Street crosses 116th Ave NE.
Dauminique, Randy aka Gramps here, I'm still new here, but I've watched a few of your videos so far, and I love your content, but if you don't mind me saying so, I've noticed that you're having a lot of difficulty with your cb mic 🎤 cord, with it getting in the way, basically because it's too long!
Well a trick I learned years ago was that there should be a small screw up above you about middle ways of your headerboard!
Well if you were to get you a small 10" or 12" in. bungie cord, loosen that screw, fit one end of that bungie cord around the srew, then tighten it back down, and then hook the other end around the clip button on the back of your cb mic 🎤, and let it hang down from the bungie cord, it will keep your cb cord up & out of the way, and keep the mic 🎤 always within easy reach!
Anyhoo, I just thought I'd mention it!
Anyway, this is Saturday, July 6, I hope you're having a good day, and a terrific weekend!
So take care, and do stay safe!...🚛💖😁👍
Thank you for your observations and quick reaction. Just discovered your page.
Just getting into the Dump Truck business. Obviously there are rules for a reason and probably if everyone followed them all the time, some things may never happen. But as a newbie and a outsider’s perspective, and I will be the first one to say why should we have to pay money to cover people who don’t follow the rules, unfortunately, that goes on for a lot of different things, how about a RED, YEllOW or ORANGE pennant flag near the ladder, that can be raised when anyone is in the bed. Kinda like the bicycle flags in the old days. Wow I just dated myself!
Your shirt,"Got Diesel?",I think would make for an awesome mudflaps!!
I'm still betting you'll change your channel name to "Beyond Dirt" at some point. 🤔
WOW! I experienced something similar with my son, who choked at the Christmas market and couldn't breathe. I saw it on video and just did it myself. The third time it came out and he could breathe again.
It's really something special to know that you've saved a life. For the people in a hospital, fire department or police, it's pretty normal.
Good morning from Connecticut love watching your vlogs keep up the good job
Communication is key. Around moving plant. And a plan of action. Working we each other. Good catch. You made the difference. He got to go home. 👍
Dauminique it's wonderful to see you back in your truck. You are such a beautiful woman and great content creator. I am not a religious person but I believe that God put you there for a reason. You were meant to be at that particular site at that particular spot and make that eye contact with him because it was not his time to go. Your motherly instincts kicked in.
A couple questions for you please. What is the link to that auction site that you go to and where is it located at?
Do you mind telling what city you live in?
I have my best friend that lives in Everett and cousins in Puyallup that I hope to come visit this summer. Would it be possible to meet you and Bobby for lunch/ dinner or coffee or drink and talk?
Thank you for being you. James from N.E.WASHINGTON STATE
Just watched and listened... Everything happens for a reason..that eye contact brought you and your son into his situation and saved his life.
And about your being emotional ?...ain't a dang thing wrong with that ...I just teared up reading the driver's comment that you showed us.
Glad to see you doing video's again, you do a very professional job and you make the Pacific Northwest look like a great place to live. I like to follow you, Just Trucking and Tim Gentry. It is interesting that all 3 of you seem to be going through some type of reset at the same time. You're all great and I wish you all the best.
Dauminique, after looking at this post TH-cam also showed me other dump truck and heavy equipment sites. You have some competition.
Hey girl something wrong with the channel, I can't give a LIKE. If you don't hear anyone else say anything it may be this f##king computer. Luv ya
It's the little things that add up to save the day! Glad you were paying attention and figured out the problem to be so that it wasn't and could have been.
nice video back on 1980s I used to run from Los Angeles to everett washington navy base back and fort on I 5 Oregon and Washington is a beautiful state exet 307 was a old truck sop had a casino inside the truck stop best restaurant inside truck stop i usually ordered fish washing and oregon has the best fish
