Just built this and on my first heroic run I was hitting in the 20 and 30 million with out much difficulty. I actually hit a 64 million on a chunga. Love this build! Thank you for all the research you do on these. If anyone likes a sniper build, you have to try this.

I have a similar Tip of the Spear build. It was great during the Golden Bullet event because you would get full ammo for your signature weapon after each kill. I was using it as a main weapon on missions.

My favorite non-Black Tusk sniper build is 3pc A&8's, Chainkiller, Airaldi backpack with vigilance and the Dodge City holster. Mantis, high damage shotty like an 870, and the police magnum with headshot dmg and preservation. The proc'd Mantis will drop red and purple ads with one dome to start your kill chain and work your way up from there; if not, start a kill chain with the .50. Focus on controllers first then pick off others at will. Rushers can be one-tapped to the body with your sidearm as long as the holster is ready, and it heals too. The shotty will one-tap most anything to the body as long as you have a kill chain started. As for the Tusk, if you have a kill chain of at least 3 (I think), the .50 will one-tap any dogs if you hit it in the BACK LEG. Swap out Mantis for White Death and put preservation on all weapons for extra survivability.
I've been running Tip Tac as my primary in all content (pve) for years now. I'm quite attached to it honestly and have found alot of cool ways to evolve it from your featured setup to how I run it now. You're one of the last few content creators I still have respect for and if there was ever a build I could help advise the community on, this is the one. Happy to compare notes with you sometime if you ever have the time and find yourself interested. Otherwise keep up the good work sir. Just be careful getting too excited about those numbers high 8 digit numbers. There's a trap you can fall into on legendary content chasing them too much. Trust me... I learned this the hard way over long period of time.
Honestly it's a great build. First sniper one where I feel comfortable farming HC CPs and I still need to vastly optimise my pieces. Those 20-30m Mantis hits are juicy to watch. As is one-tapping named dudes. One caveat I noticed: if you play ToS with "hard to earn" directive on, it for some reason doesn't allow you to pick up armour kits from the kills - probably a bug, but I had to use repair drone to make up for lack of other healing forms.
It’s awesome to see you working a build around the specialist weapon! I know they seem useless, but if you can some how spec into the weapon, it could be crazy! My only problem with specialist weapons is, you can’t hold much ammo

Great build! Thought I’d try something different and try a sniper/hs build and I’m definitely sold! Pulled a 108 million plus headshot! Didn’t realise you could get damage numbers that high. Making room in my load out tab right now. Thanks for sharing 👍
Very similar to my sniper build but I run a Sacrifice chest and Punch Drunk mask. My PB with the specialization sniper is 84.5M damage. And that was solo without any team buffs.
I would not recommend this build if you are first getting into sniping. Just take a typical Coyote's Mask DPS build and swap the chest for Chainkiller. Your headshot damage won't be as high, but you can bring a secondary weapon to fall back on. Snipers benefit from crits as well, so you will still be popping elites heads off anyway.
not sure about 'solo legendary' with this build (if you are good you can do legendary solo with just about anything), but I definitely wouldn't recommend a solo sniper build in a stronghold context by yourself for anyone (unless you like pain). groups- sure, whatever. Good build, old standby of HH based max damage snipers (more of a concern for group play with higher elite HP totals, esp in legendary).
2 attribute slots on the gear set? I'm fairly new so never find them with open slots on all. I have never been so lucky lol. I also do not have this named chest piece but will improvise. Thanks for making a build using my favorite sniper rifle!
I’m not sure what I did that made my build so much different than yours, but my specialization hits consistently almost 100mill. Perhaps it’s the mask, back, glove, knee as tip mixed with chai killer and that one exotic headshot holster that makes it happen. Everything rolled with headshot, however my mantis lowkey sucks in legendary and DZ, I’ll have to finish this vid and see what happens
I’m glad people still get happiness from The Division 2. I wish I could share the joy but one game mode and some clothes don’t excite me. We need new content. The sad part is no one makes anything like The Division franchise so we are at the mercy of Ubisoft massive and whenever they decide to get their shit together to make a new game or MEANINGFUL new content. The Division 2 was a disappointment to Ubisoft financially and quite honestly not a pimple on the ass of the first game. Hopefully Heartland will be coming soon.

My best build has been a Diamondback Rifle with a 4 Piece "Tip of the Spear" with "Perfect Headhunter" talent chest and Gunslinger Holster for one-shotting with your handgun (the Orbit) as well. Every piece had headshot damage. Long-range use Tac-50 because of scope but also gives you added weapon damage for that. For mid-range and short-range, the diamondback has automatic Crit DMG for marked targets for about 2 to 2.3 million for body shots and 8 to 10 million for first headshots more if strung together. If rushed pull your handgun and with full stacks from the gunslinger, you can hit from 8 to 10 million for one shot body shots more if headshots. Hitting and stringing headshots you can get up to 80 million in damage. It slaps major booty! Thanks.
The answer is not that simple. Crit is not amazing for sniper builds but helps, headshot is better if you can hit them. Crit nemesis builds are really good but it depends
Nice build but man! but can you show a build for like new people after level 40 that does not take 5000 hours farming? I cant even get gear to manage challenging....so how should i ever get stufff like yours
I tried it but it takes too dam long to complete a mission. Skill builds and even the builds i hate the most like LMG and Assault rifle weapon only builds clear faster. Yes it's good at bosses and single targets but in no way good for solo clears if you value time... Especially if you suck at aiming for headshots. Turret and drone skill builds are still better, and especially the Eclipse set for AOE status spreads on kill.
I'm doing 30 mil with the white death every head shot without having to scope (takes to damn long). Who wants to sit and wait for the 50? The 50 is great if and when you have ammo

Can you do a video on the the value and diminishing returns of different red/blue splits i.e. 4 red 2 blue or 2 red 4 blue and so on?

Just be careful getting too excited about those numbers high 8 digit numbers. There's a trap you can fall into on legendary content chasing them too much. Trust me... I learned this the hard way over long period of time.

There are builds in Patrick's library he has posted for us, centered around getting the specialist ammo IOT take advantage of the special weapons !

Much safer to get some prtections for elite mods OR some regen, dropping your dmg with acouple of millions

How did you get maxed out modifications? I was doing Summit on heroic and never getting maxed out gear mod
Legendary mission when mods are targeted loot is the best. Or countdown and set to mods could work also.

I made this build years ago does more dps without those exotic knees
Dps is not important on a sniper build also the knee pads are needed for drone spam

Great for pc players with next to no recoil for headshots!
Recoil does not affect snipers. Take your time it’s easy on controller because the decoy allows you to not be targeted and rushed.
@@PatrickWolfChannel but on legendary the decoy hardly works cause of no skill. And it doesn’t last to long.
@@redeyezreaperx1601 the mantis refreshes the decoy so it’s always active no cool-down at all try it it works really well.
