I hope you found the problem with the ct70 , looks like a 1978 . It’s the push pull hook on the end of shift drum came off of the pins it grabs because the one little screw came loose 😂 it’s located 4 inches up from dip stick, inside case. Good luck 👍🙏
The little adjustment you see on side Engine Cover on that Bike is an adjustment for the Clutch & does make it engage & the Bike will not start right if it out of adjustment (BUT IF YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING YOU NEED TO CONSULT SOMEONE THAT DOES KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING SO IT WILL NOT BE MESSED UP)
Itta Pupu nope not in the ct70's!!! Unless it's the 4 speed with the manual clutch. Dude I know these bikes so well. It's 3 gears all up. 1 st gear is even up too.
@2vintage when you bought the pedal moped like 2 weeks ago you said you would freak out if it had 7000 miles I thought those engines were good for 50000 miles or is that not true
you guys need to find a good tech that can troubleshoot these problems. it would cut into your profit, but your gross volume would increase by threefold.

for those tight screws try hest or best yet get an impact driver. one u hit with a hammer. sears sells them with hardened tips

Don't drill those out 2:30, instead get a hammer impact driver. That's what it needs.
