Its important pre-99 to block high weight, low-xp tasks. As a main its basically the only consideration. Saying that means that blocking elves is a crazy thought since you so rarely get them from Duradel.

idk I don't have elves blocked, but last time I was doing my blocks based off duradel's weights I didn't have any other tasks with a higher weight than elves that I didn't want to do (this was around 80 slayer with all but 2 of the block slots). I think I ended up blocking a different task that had the same weight as elves and now that I've unlocked a few bad tasks since then it might be different but I think it's totally possible for elves to be an "efficient" pre-99 block. Once you have to choose between like 3 different tasks that have the same odds of being given it's really up to preference

good list but I very much disagree with your block suggestions, the ones you suggested are low weight, just skip them when you get them and block the higher weighted bad tasks instead
@@dylanwright6486 Look up the slayer guide on the osrs wiki, and there is a chart towards the bottom of the page that shows the weight of the creatures with xp rates. Just filter it by weight and start at the top of the list and go down, while blocking all the tasks you want to avoid at all costs. The wiki also will tell you what to block and skip to be most efficient, but you can just go by preference.
On Scabarites: I was genuinely surprised at how good the money was, not bank busting GP but for middling easy afk tasks they’re good. Amazing for irons I think, they spit out noted Mithril bars way more than Mithril dragons, and with a Ring of Wealth the gp drops really stack up a surprising amount.
I really got to look into these, I just remember them being a so/so task, but if they're good GP/XP and I think they are cannonable/afk that would put them pretty high up on the list if I remade the video
Ideally irons would not even use banked mithril bars. Blast furnace gold is just that good and sepulcher and ourania rc makes it affordable! I wouldn't call scabarites good for irons, but surely a fun adventure for some.
Missed quite a few notable ones: * Jellies * Vyres * Warped Creatures * Bronze Dragons Also a bunch of lower levels ones ofc; * Infernal mages, Terrordogs, Sourhogs etc but not sure if you're omitting low level Slayer
It may not be objectively the best task, but my favorite task is absolutely Dagannoths so I appreciate you giving it the respect it deserves. Nowadays the money isn't that great compared to say, Nex, but back in the day when Zulrah was the best money in the game at 3-4m/hour, DKs was VERY close if you had the Elite Fremennik diaries, which made DKs like 2-3m/hour depending on ring prices. When B rings were 4-5m and Archer rings were 6m DKs was insane money. I've done over 12k DKs on the main myself, still haven't completed the pet trio but I plan to.
Kurasks are my fav. I know you can't cannon them. But they're decent profit and I regularly hit 50s+ with that battleaxe and its just satisfying. Plus its so accurate.
Oh Lord, I'm so sorry. Seriously, doing this without stamina pots would be an actual living nightmare. I'm doing it right now (MM2) and the thought of doing this without the ring of endurance and stamina pots is giving me the heebie jeebies. I don't know how Ironmen do what they do. It's kind of amazing lol.
I think you forgot that you can kill Skotizo on both Greater Demon and Black Demon tasks. Might not change the ranking, but worth a mention. I'm doing AFK slayer (mostly Fight Caves to practice Jad) on Leagues IV while watching this. :)

Watching this while attempting to get 138 kq kills. Just got an imbued heart at 80 slayer so sold it for 98m and bought lots of gear upgrades from barrows to Bandos and arma 🤩

I'll keep in mind the faster exp rate tasks and methods as I'm still trying to get out of the "mid-game" sitting at 81 slayer and the only really profitable monsters I have unlocked are Kurask and Gargs. Some notes: - Fossil Island Wyverns have their own unique block you can buy that doesn't use up a normal block (though it does cost more points). Useful if you're on the fence about them. - Turoths! idk about Duaradel but if you're a Konar simp like me she definitely can assign Turoths. Pretty lousy task but at least it's easy. lots of low herb drops and a few mid-bad alch drops, unfortunately you need it available if you want kurasks bc they're tied to the same unlock. - Black Demons have another boss - Skotizo. If you have any totems lying around a black demon task is a great excuse to use them. - Trolls have stronger variants, the Troll Generals in Troll Stronghold and Stick/Rock/etc on Death Plateau, which can drop granite shields and drop more rune items. Slow, annoying and not really worth it, but it's an option.
Protip for a trolls task: if you’re a UIM or just don’t have a cannon, do the task on the death plateau standing on the tile between Pee Hat and Kraka. (For some reason it’s out of the aggro range of the normal trolls) but they have the same drops as Neitznot trolls. Not the best xp but it’s a super chill task and it’s decent money.
Recently fell in love with wildy slayer. Slayer has always been my lowest stat but recently I tried wildy slayer and I'm addicted. It's partially because I've pretty much only been doing wildy stuff for like 4 months now but wildy slayer is legit amazing because it's Uber fast points and makes you great money. Can't wait to get some bursting tasks and abuse the accursed scepter damage boost.
kurasks can be pseudo cannoned in prif just to keep aggro. bloodvelds in meiyerditch with cannon and venator bow on rapid you can get over 100k/hour. adamant dragons drop dragon metal slice which is almost 60m. brine rates drop the brine sabre which is rapidly approaching 1m each
if you already have the pet (like me) regular hydras are a pretty good semi afk task with full range tank and camping protect from mage, and the superior has i think the highest chance to drop the imbued heart and eternal gem
Quite note that some tasks are great for mains vs irons. For example, maintaining cannonballs on an iron is pretty slow, so you're better off blocking Kalphites than running them.
yea Tormented demons def boosts greater demon tasks to like an a/s. Super easy to kill and extremely profitable one of the most profitable activities in the game even off task

Ppl may hate me but slayer is so dull and lifeless. You get a task get 10k xp repeat. Its a buyable if u want to finish a task fast. Cannon or barrage I dont understand the love for it and its terrible money for most ppl
It's not buyable (you got to put 100s of hours into it). It's fucking crazy money (4-6mil per hour when your level 90+). And it has variety/change of scenery. This is why it's the most popular skill by a mile :)
this is a good tier but as a fellow ironman, that also wants to to the collection log, i would defiantly change a few things. all in all it was a great video
@@NoLeather pro tip just, unlock all u wanna unlock and tureal skip all the way after that.. collecting slay points to be able to skip tasks doesnt make sense when u can already do that by resetting task streak all the time.
Spiritual Creatures are an amazing task if you do Nex, even if you don't do Nex, the ones in the Ancient Prison have much better drops. I've easily made tens of millions of gp just from KCing for Nex. Pre-Nex I had them blocked, now I have them extended. It's crazy how a GWD boss changed things so drastically.
As far as i know, the only monsters that have superiors are the actual slayer monsters. As in, you cant damage them unless you have the slayer req for it.
Important update for wyrm tasks: there are wyrmlings in the perilous moons dungeon that are super easy to kill and you don't have to bring supplies at all. I always do these now, its so fast since you functionally have infinite prayer, I keep piety on the whole time
Currently stealing jewelry from the HAM hideout because I want to lvl agility and get the agility outfit but I find agility dull as hell (like everyone else) so I like to alch jewelry during it. I was originally planning on doing more of the quests for RFD but I got distracted again. Also random aside but I currently have a blue dragon task on my IM and instead of killing the baby varient I decided to go after the rune crossbow for an upgrade and had planned on making mit bolts for it to speed up the task. I actually got the crossbow (first boss farmed yay) but I got really distracted on the smithing side and am now stealing jewelry and got the thieves outfit.
While watching I was training cooking on my UIM. I'd skip any tasks that aren't worth doing without specific gear, because chances are I don't have it, unless I was forced to due to lack of points. Kinda stuck on a Konar task rn actually, been skilling to hopefully gear up for another attempt since last time I died and lost my stuff.
Minions of scarabaras are actually great for low-mid irons needing cash. They're right beneath Soph bank and drop 3-4k gp at a 1 in 4 rate. Prot from missiles vs locust riders or magic from the scarab mages. Other than that they aren't very notable. Also, only Nieve/Steve assigns them.
I think your rankings are good but I would have appreciated a dual list - keep your original the same but also add an ironman list. I think a TON of tasks would move around. Cannon tasks become more choosy, tasks like Kurasks which drop incredibly useful unique items (coconut and papaya) become A-S tier, and tasks where the majority of gp comes from uniques go from AWESOME if you need the drop to meh if you don't
This was going to be my comment exactly. His list is insanely reliant on cannon. If you don't have infinite cannon balls like most ironmen, you wouldn't want to do a couple of the S tier tasks. I have kalphites and dags blocked because the task is pretty bad w/out a cannon.
I've found a pretty fast/small profit method for blue dragons. If you place your cannon 2 spaces above the egg near the pipe shortcut, you can either melee, or use the ranged/mage safespot to treat it as multi. Pick up the bones and Tele to falador when inventory is full. Your cannon continues to hit/kill them while banking. Run back and use the pipe to repeat :)
I think that slayer dart with an enchanted slayer staff makes bronze, iron, and steel dragons super easy and pretty quick. I dont think that you need a trident to do them
I peronsally would bump Dark Beasts up a tier, they have no aggro timer, completely afk and with dbow sitting near 700k+ it's the easiest task. Also some of these I'd change just based off venator bow, as with abby demons you can get 180K+ range xp/hr and 60k prayer in the catacombs afkable
Beautiful tier list! I really appreciate the shoutouts for ironmen when applicable. But I have a question regarding this. For tasks where you said they're only good because you can cannon them (like trolls), would your opinion change if you were an ironman that doesn't bother making cannonballs? I have trolls blocked on my iron, never been a fan of them. But people keep saying it's a really good task.
Any help apreciated. Im semi new, 50-75 in most skills. Struggling to know what to focus on so i bounce between a buch of skills. I do like doing that cus im getting a feel for what i like and dont but i would like a big goal that would be good for my account. Also any refrences for learing pvm that is focused on combat skills 65s would be great as i feel like i dont really know what im doing most of the time, i just grab my meele gear with food and smack stuff
Biggest suggestions would be completing the achievement diaries that your current levels allow for you to do, rushing RFD quest, getting your con to atleast lvl 50 for portal rooms, and doing farming. All these will take you to/give you access to most of the world and the transports needed to get there
I am actually finishing RFD today! well hopefully, just have the chef boss fights left. I havent really touched my house yet so ill get onto that. Farming ive been doing for herb runs a fair bit and Ive done a few diaries but not that many so ill crack into them. Thanks mate

The blue dragon task is good at Vorkath as it gives over 100k slayer cp for task while making good money. I know that it's not great xp/hr, and the slayer helm is useless there. However, it's just nice to get a lot of slayer xp while you're grinding a boss to build your bank. It's things like this that eventually allowed me to afford a Tbow.
I always used Minions of Scabaras tasks as an excuse to do some Pyramid Plunder. I absolute hate the content, but i really needed the Pharaoh's Sceptre on my iron, so whenever i got them (~50 KC), i'd just do some runs of Pyramid Plunder looting the middle chests. The tasks go very slowly, but it's worth it cause you end up with Sceptres.
Dagonnoths, you can multi in the Isle of Stone (Jorm prison). Melee only, so it's even more safe-brainless any lv vs tanking both melee-range in Lighthouse. Very well deserved S making kraken and slayer bossing all the more accessible. Shoutout Greater Demons A as Wildy Slayer Cave they're well spread so a pker rushing in you have plenty reaction time cannoning multi. Gnome pod is needed tho Lv30 wildy

I went from 92-99rc on main at zeah while I played on my leagues alt and then started a HC escape ftp challenge account. Niche but just a thought. Everyone worry’s about what to do on league, not what you can also get done alongside it.
I like this idea alot, its a good resource for anything that comes up like DMM/Leagues/Etc, focusing on like the lowest clicks per minute stuff thats worth while. I am for sure making a video on zeah RC though, thats how I did 99 rc as well!
super anti fire, cannon, and a dragon dagger for regular high hitting specs, blue dragons are not that bad that way. its not multi in tavernly, but when you do not have aggro the cannon fucks up a lot of babies uf you place it in a good spot so over all not bad, pretty quick.
main problem with minions of scabaras is its not as accesible as other tasks, its decent with the pharaoh sceptre but its also a rather expensive item for just a tp unlock
Grotesque guardians with hard diary done so +7.5% xp in the tower I get 86-90k xp/hr killing them! One of the higher xp tasks I think and with elite diary it’s even higher
I will say that scarabas are b tier. You can cannon them and with a ranged set up with a blowpipe you can do a task in like 10 mins. It’s also decent money. Runes and loads of alchs. However it is not afk but they are aggressive
I am only on minions of scabaras and I’m more knowledgeable I guess. I wish Duradel assigned them!! They’re so easy to afk with prayer and are surprisingly a really good money maker. Sooo chill! I loved doing them on my way to 99 ranged. Also I’m a Red dragon fan. I unlocked em after dt2 and exclusively do baby dragons. Absolutely free points and super chill task.
Blue dragons by far my favorite task cause I love doing vork. Every task adds about 30-40m to the bank which I think is the most any slayer task can get you without getting a rare drop
Have to disagree on killing normal blue dragons. Fang absolutely shreds them, and if you kill them in the Myth's guild basement, you can fill up an inventory with bones and hides before your prayer runs out. Then you recharge your prayer and spec at your house, drop off the loot in Seers, then teleport back to the guild and do it all again.
Idk about the pronounciation of suqahs there... they're just goons for the lunar islanders, i think the name was intentional that they're suqahs, like suckas
i feel like black dragons is S just for brutal black dragons. like ya its not that good if u dont have dhcb but honestly if ur a main and not planning on learning raids asap for money then imo a dhcb is really worth rushing. Vorkath for a chill but slightly involved 2-3m/hr, Brutal black dragons for a very chill 1m/hr, skeletal wyverns might be slow but they're also good money w a dhcb, mithril dragons also a really good task once u get the noted bars unlock which is obviously a lot better w the dhcb. It's useful for a lot of profitable tasks. There's a lot of dragons in this game lol. And once u have it extended Black dragons is like a top 5 task as long as you don't have a 1b bank and are just completely focused on training slayer as fast as humanly possible

I think red dragons are good for all Ironman. Can recharge prayer, tan hides and has an alter that gives 300% Prayer experience right next to the dragons, no banking required. Its almost like a private server hidden behind a small quest. I would say its a B

With the addition to goading potions you can afk elves in prif dungeon for 6 minutes straight. Goading potions have changed slayer subsantially

Normal slayer is kinda dead but with wildy slayer you will make money every task and decent xp

Brooo. As I'm grinding slayer. Just got 87 with kraken task about 20 tasks later. Trident on 1KC then Tenticle at 156KC. Perfect video rn!

Minions of scarabas can be cannoned in multi, have noted drops and GP and keep aggro. They can be skipped but definitely wouldn’t block them. Very quick task too

Ppl may hate me but slayer is so dull and lifeless. You get a task get 10k xp repeat. Its a buyable if u want to finish a task fast. Cannon or barrage

It's not buyable (you got to put 100s of hours into it). It's fucking crazy money (4-6mil per hour when your level 90+). And it has variety/change of scenery. This is why it's the most popular skill by a mile :)
this is a good tier but as a fellow ironman, that also wants to to the collection log, i would defiantly change a few things. all in all it was a great video
Pro-tip. You can spend more points to block fossil island wyverns without taking up a block slot.

@@NoLeather pro tip just, unlock all u wanna unlock and tureal skip all the way after that.. collecting slay points to be able to skip tasks doesnt make sense when u can already do that by resetting task streak all the time.

Spiritual Creatures are an amazing task if you do Nex, even if you don't do Nex, the ones in the Ancient Prison have much better drops. I've easily made tens of millions of gp just from KCing for Nex. Pre-Nex I had them blocked, now I have them extended. It's crazy how a GWD boss changed things so drastically.

As far as i know, the only monsters that have superiors are the actual slayer monsters. As in, you cant damage them unless you have the slayer req for it.
Important update for wyrm tasks: there are wyrmlings in the perilous moons dungeon that are super easy to kill and you don't have to bring supplies at all. I always do these now, its so fast since you functionally have infinite prayer, I keep piety on the whole time
Brine rats you can use rat bane weapons for, and it makes it so easy! I used my rat mace/flail, and it was a piece of cake and super fast xp
Currently stealing jewelry from the HAM hideout because I want to lvl agility and get the agility outfit but I find agility dull as hell (like everyone else) so I like to alch jewelry during it. I was originally planning on doing more of the quests for RFD but I got distracted again. Also random aside but I currently have a blue dragon task on my IM and instead of killing the baby varient I decided to go after the rune crossbow for an upgrade and had planned on making mit bolts for it to speed up the task. I actually got the crossbow (first boss farmed yay) but I got really distracted on the smithing side and am now stealing jewelry and got the thieves outfit.

Black demons in the wilderness slayer cave with a cannon is an insanely good task for profit AND xp. Especially for low levels.

I found cannoning blue dragons under the Myth's guild to be quite fast and easy to bank the dragon bones

I'd skip any tasks that aren't worth doing without specific gear, because chances are I don't have it, unless I was forced to due to lack of points. Kinda stuck on a Konar task rn actually, been skilling to hopefully gear up for another attempt since last time I died and lost my stuff.
Minions of scarabaras are actually great for low-mid irons needing cash. They're right beneath Soph bank and drop 3-4k gp at a 1 in 4 rate. Prot from missiles vs locust riders or magic from the scarab mages. Other than that they aren't very notable. Also, only Nieve/Steve assigns them.
People sleep on minions of scarabas. They have very good drops and are quick to kill. Getting there is a bit annoying, but it's right next to a bank
I think your rankings are good but I would have appreciated a dual list - keep your original the same but also add an ironman list. I think a TON of tasks would move around. Cannon tasks become more choosy, tasks like Kurasks which drop incredibly useful unique items (coconut and papaya) become A-S tier, and tasks where the majority of gp comes from uniques go from AWESOME if you need the drop to meh if you don't
This was going to be my comment exactly. His list is insanely reliant on cannon. If you don't have infinite cannon balls like most ironmen, you wouldn't want to do a couple of the S tier tasks. I have kalphites and dags blocked because the task is pretty bad w/out a cannon.

Wyrm task spawned the superior mob which dropped me an imbued heart, i will never hate doing wyrms again

I've found a pretty fast/small profit method for blue dragons.
If you place your cannon 2 spaces above the egg near the pipe shortcut, you can either melee, or use the ranged/mage safespot to treat it as multi.
Pick up the bones and Tele to falador when inventory is full. Your cannon continues to hit/kill them while banking. Run back and use the pipe to repeat :)

I think that slayer dart with an enchanted slayer staff makes bronze, iron, and steel dragons super easy and pretty quick. I dont think that you need a trident to do them

In Jormungand's Prison daganoths areas are multicombat.
I peronsally would bump Dark Beasts up a tier, they have no aggro timer, completely afk and with dbow sitting near 700k+ it's the easiest task. Also some of these I'd change just based off venator bow, as with abby demons you can get 180K+ range xp/hr and 60k prayer in the catacombs afkable
Beautiful tier list! I really appreciate the shoutouts for ironmen when applicable. But I have a question regarding this. For tasks where you said they're only good because you can cannon them (like trolls), would your opinion change if you were an ironman that doesn't bother making cannonballs?
I have trolls blocked on my iron, never been a fan of them. But people keep saying it's a really good task.
No mention of brutal dragons? No mention of clue scrolls for hellhounds. Only 2 things I noticed that could have been mentioned.
Any help apreciated. Im semi new, 50-75 in most skills. Struggling to know what to focus on so i bounce between a buch of skills. I do like doing that cus im getting a feel for what i like and dont but i would like a big goal that would be good for my account. Also any refrences for learing pvm that is focused on combat skills 65s would be great as i feel like i dont really know what im doing most of the time, i just grab my meele gear with food and smack stuff
Biggest suggestions would be completing the achievement diaries that your current levels allow for you to do, rushing RFD quest, getting your con to atleast lvl 50 for portal rooms, and doing farming. All these will take you to/give you access to most of the world and the transports needed to get there
I am actually finishing RFD today! well hopefully, just have the chef boss fights left. I havent really touched my house yet so ill get onto that. Farming ive been doing for herb runs a fair bit and Ive done a few diaries but not that many so ill crack into them. Thanks mate

The blue dragon task is good at Vorkath as it gives over 100k slayer cp for task while making good money. I know that it's not great xp/hr, and the slayer helm is useless there. However, it's just nice to get a lot of slayer xp while you're grinding a boss to build your bank. It's things like this that eventually allowed me to afford a Tbow.
I always used Minions of Scabaras tasks as an excuse to do some Pyramid Plunder. I absolute hate the content, but i really needed the Pharaoh's Sceptre on my iron, so whenever i got them (~50 KC), i'd just do some runs of Pyramid Plunder looting the middle chests. The tasks go very slowly, but it's worth it cause you end up with Sceptres.

Dagonnoths, you can multi in the Isle of Stone (Jorm prison). Melee only, so it's even more safe-brainless any lv vs tanking both melee-range in Lighthouse.
Very well deserved S making kraken and slayer bossing all the more accessible. Shoutout Greater Demons A as Wildy Slayer Cave they're well spread so a pker rushing in you have plenty reaction time cannoning multi. Gnome pod is needed tho Lv30 wildy

Niche but just a thought. Everyone worry’s about what to do on league, not what you can also get done alongside it.
I like this idea alot, its a good resource for anything that comes up like DMM/Leagues/Etc, focusing on like the lowest clicks per minute stuff thats worth while. I am for sure making a video on zeah RC though, thats how I did 99 rc as well!
Don’t forget about black demons in kourend which is multicombat and they’re higher level (more xp) and afk
super anti fire, cannon, and a dragon dagger for regular high hitting specs, blue dragons are not that bad that way. its not multi in tavernly, but when you do not have aggro the cannon fucks up a lot of babies uf you place it in a good spot so over all not bad, pretty quick.
Minions of scarbas are an A+ tier, short, cannonable and theres about 20 of them clumped in a lower level below sophanem and good loot!
main problem with minions of scabaras is its not as accesible as other tasks, its decent with the pharaoh sceptre but its also a rather expensive item for just a tp unlock
Grotesque guardians with hard diary done so +7.5% xp in the tower I get 86-90k xp/hr killing them! One of the higher xp tasks I think and with elite diary it’s even higher

I will say that scarabas are b tier. You can cannon them and with a ranged set up with a blowpipe you can do a task in like 10 mins. It’s also decent money. Runes and loads of alchs. However it is not afk but they are aggressive
I am only on minions of scabaras and I’m more knowledgeable I guess. I wish Duradel assigned them!! They’re so easy to afk with prayer and are surprisingly a really good money maker. Sooo chill! I loved doing them on my way to 99 ranged.
Also I’m a Red dragon fan. I unlocked em after dt2 and exclusively do baby dragons. Absolutely free points and super chill task.
Blue dragons by far my favorite task cause I love doing vork. Every task adds about 30-40m to the bank which I think is the most any slayer task can get you without getting a rare drop
Have to disagree on killing normal blue dragons. Fang absolutely shreds them, and if you kill them in the Myth's guild basement, you can fill up an inventory with bones and hides before your prayer runs out. Then you recharge your prayer and spec at your house, drop off the loot in Seers, then teleport back to the guild and do it all again.
Drakes are actually a good task. Pretty fast with okay profit and a good surp. I got 700k in 45 minutes and was mostly afk with a cannon
Spiritual creatures are really S-tier. Go kill Zaros Spiritual Mages, they give such good drops

i feel like black dragons is S just for brutal black dragons. like ya its not that good if u dont have dhcb but honestly if ur a main and not planning on learning raids asap for money then imo a dhcb is really worth rushing. Vorkath for a chill but slightly involved 2-3m/hr, Brutal black dragons for a very chill 1m/hr, skeletal wyverns might be slow but they're also good money w a dhcb, mithril dragons also a really good task once u get the noted bars unlock which is obviously a lot better w the dhcb. It's useful for a lot of profitable tasks. There's a lot of dragons in this game lol. And once u have it extended Black dragons is like a top 5 task as long as you don't have a 1b bank and are just completely focused on training slayer as fast as humanly possible

I think red dragons are good for all Ironman. Can recharge prayer, tan hides and has an alter that gives 300% Prayer experience right next to the dragons, no banking required. Its almost like a private server hidden behind a small quest. I would say its a B
