@@apostasiaelegcho5612 What I mean by underrated is that he does t get the respect today that he earned via his career. As an example, he was hardly mentioned in the Ken Burns PBS miniseries "Country Music".
I never heard this one either and I thought I knew them all. Conway music will live forever. How many number one hits 50 some. The best country music singer I think
Ole Conway unfortunately has passed on, he died in 1993. However obviously his music is well and living on. Did u know Conway Twitty won the Living Legend Award in 1988.
This Guy was COOL before Elvis. He is such a Generous Person. Was standing in line Along time ago for a show at the Grand Old Opry. He didn't use the Backdoor or anything. He used the Front door and actually said Hi to everyone and shook hands Was wearing a Leisure Suit. Hari slick backed and sideburns low n long. Chain smoking. Never forget it
I was introduced to Conway through Family Guy cutaways but soon began to find my way into Outlaw Country Era and Conway came rolling back around 😂 man has undeniable talent.
An underrated legend. Conway belongs on the Mount Rushmore of country music with George, Waylon, Merle, Charley and Willie.

I don’t think so. This was in 1989. Died after Branson show in 1993 I believe. Btw- there should be a movie by now about this music Legend.
