my father was quite strict too, he was always against me hanging out with my friends and would constantly tell me not to do this or that. however, I was eager to experience the typical teenage years with my friends, so i often did the opposite of what he wanted. after class, i'd go out with my classmates to eat or take photos at the studio it was so much fun to be with them, it was a welcome break from the routine of studying at school and doing homework at home. even though i knew this was against my parents' wishes, i can honestly say that i didn't care much, i was always careful not to indulge in harmful activities like drugs, alcohol or smoking. i recently watched a video about parenting which suggested that parents should change their approach depending on the age of their child, when the child is young, they should be more controlling during the teenage years, they should act as coaches and when the child becomes an adult, they should serve as consultants this strategy is meant to avoid conflicts between parents and their children of course, the situation varies and some parents might be strict because they want to protect us due to various factors like social status, current events, weather conditions, etc.

so relateee 33y/o cant go out without make paalam sa parents. cant go out without someone picking me up and dapat ihahatid din ako pauwi. kahit working na ko. ang tanda ko na pero na kokonsensya pa rin ako sumuway hahahaha.
