1. utopia - a perfect world where everyone is happy. 2. If you’re struggle with an idea, you find it difficult to accept. 3. The adjective ‘outlandish’ means strange and unusual. 4. ‘to conquer’ something means to control it by force 5. Someone who is humble is not proud or arrogant. 6. the phrase ‘a grain of sand’ describes something which is both insignificant yet somehow important.
Thanks BBC When we were young, we often had big dreams. Unfortunately , as we grow up, these childhood dreams often get lost in the adult world of jobs, money, families and careers. However, not everyone decides to give up and they continue to follow their dreams since they want the world to be a utopia where people could enjoy and get along with each other. Therefore, in this program, we’ll be listening to those making their dreams come true, not by changing the world but by changing themselves. According to Daisy, the first dreamer, she believes in the sharing of resources in Riverside where people get the same amount no matter how hard they work. That is a belief that people from the outside world often struggle with and find it outlandish. Turning to the Zapps, a family, Herman Zapps has become so humble after meeting countless people and listening to their stories. Somehow he turned to the one who was conquered by the world and realized he was just a grain of sand, small but still important.
Conquering your dream is not easy assignment, it requires your effort and passion. Hopefully everyone could find the most comfortable way to achieve your dream 😊
Utopia: A perfect world where everyone is happy Struggle with an idea: Find it difficult to accept Outlandish: Strange and unusual Conquer: To control it by force Someone who's humble: Not proud or arrogant A grain of sand: Something which is both magnificent yet somehow important

I had many dreams. To be more happy I want to follow my own dreams. Russian quote says life means nothing without dreams. I agree with it. Dreams give us too many emotions like exciting, happiness and a lot of fun. Dreams come true. We should dream more, because it gives a hope. I follow my own dreams

Thanks a lot for this video. I just want to add that follow a dream is not always something extraordinary or extreme. It can be more simple that the exemples showed by the video. It can be get the job we expect after studies, open a restaurant, live in a farm,.... I always surprised when given examples in the medias are often the same like travelling, etc. I think if the question was asked to non occidental persons, the answers maybe really different...
Why are we afraid to follow our dreams? It's because we are self-aware about our RESPONSIBILITIES to ensure the bright future of our families, and the most important is, our children. Live for myself? That idea is fascinating, especially if you are successful. Whereas you will be taught another lesson by someone who tells you loudly: "I TOLD YOU! Make sure your dreams are realistic!" (LOL)
Wow lucky Daisy and Herman😮😊 followed their dreams and achieved it. So, I guess consistency and believing in each other or something is the key 🔑. I wish and pray everyone can achieve their dreams and be happy forever. 🤞🤲
We hope you enjoyed that video! Here's some useful language for talking about regrets 👉th-cam.com/video/CV5i4U9srrs/w-d-xo.html
