WELLBELOVED

A short film that documents the W. H. Wellbeloved butchers shop on Tanner's Hill, Deptford, which closed in July 2021 after almost 200 years of trading.
Filmmaker Stewart Morgan documents owner William Wellbeloved and his son Liam at work, and captures a typical Saturday's trading, all with a particular focus on the famous steak pies that the shop produced in-house and which drew custom from Lewisham and all over south-east England.
