@krissthewis I wanted 3” deep which is one quarter. 12” in a foot, so 3/12 to convert from inches to feet. An easy example, if you measured 10’ x 10’ square that is 100 ft2 in 2 dimensions but you are in feet and deciding to use the thickness in inches so you need to convert it to feet to get all the math in the same measurement. If you wanted the mulch 1 foot thick you would have 100 ft3, but you want 3” which is a quarter that thickness (3/12 or 1/4) … 100 * 3 / 12 = 25 … 25 is a quarter of 100. Sorry if that was more confusing haha

I didnt see you measure that. Or do we always divide by 1/4 no matter what?
