top Buff! well worth the wait :-) I had a pair of Super Record hubs built on to Gel280s as my racing wheels. Built by a local mechanic they were outstanding wheels. can't wait to see the finished frame. and congrats to your daughter as well - top work :-)
Wow...outstanding. I consider those old Campag Record hubs to be the best hubs ever made. All components were available as spares too-I have some press in -inner bearing races, cones etc. Just pump Campag. White Grease into grease port until it oozes out each side..job done for another year. Remember with passion those Regina ORO gold chains and great to see the Regina freewheel stripped down and restored. That is before we get to the frame.... lovely job and well worth going to the trouble of getting proper decals. Look forward to the follow up.
I acknowledge your disappointment with the frame tubing decal. I have the same problem with my 96 Colnago Tecnos. The original had a bright shiny gold lustre, but all the replacements I’ve found are dull and flat. Frustrating! *Just ordered a new decal from a seller in Cyprus that looks the ticket. Fingers crossed :)
🙌🙌 Great restoration. Really love the result. How did you figure out the right size of the chrome chainstay decal? I would love to have one made for my project.
Thank you. Just really careful measurements and trail and error. I first cut the template on paper to check the fit, then make the corrections on the software before cutting on the vinyl.
Nice to meet you today. Great ride 👌 njoy your holidays

Thanks fella, those hubs truly are something special, to be that smooth after so many years just blows my mind 👌🏼
Awesome content! Have waited patiently for this. That frame and wheels: Yess! Great stuff.
Enjoyed you series of videos on this Colnago. Superb work. When will episode 7 go live?
Thank you, the final video will go live towards the end of February 👍🏼

They’re exception quality Felix and such a pleasure to work with as they respond so well to the effort you put into restoring them 👌🏼👍🏼

Amazing video
Thank you 🙏🏼
I am not sure about clamping to a freshly painted frame tube. why don't you use a dummy seat post as the clamping attachment?
Don’t stress it, I know what I’m doing… well, sometimes 😉🤣

@@BuffsVintageBikes Thanks Buff! 👍
👍👍👍
Is there any oil you recommend for these hubs? Brand or weight?
I wouldn’t use oil but rather a good quality grease.
